YTD 0-0Alright tonight the night where I need to start actually making write-ups and posting picks. I&#x27;v seen enough of college basketball so far to get a feel for things and gain enough confidence to where I feel I can post information that will hopefully help the community(and finals just ended so I have time to actually do this). Canisius vs South Dakota Under 148 1 UnitI follow the Canisius program very closely and there are a lot of reasons I like this play. Canisius last two games have been tough loses vs the top opponents in there conference(Iona and Fairfield) and they look to win there first home game tonight. The Golden Griffens are averaging 68 points per game while South Dakota averages 70 ppg. South Dakota has only scored over 70 points in a game 3 times this season against Oakland(5th most possesions per game 259th ranked Defense) Nebraska Omaha(43rd most possessions per game 344th ranked defense) and IPFW(109th most possessions 311th ranked defense) Without those games They dont average near that amount. Now lets look at the Canisius Defense. There defense is ranked 281st which isnt fair to them considering they have played UNLV 14th ranked offense Buffalo 88th ranked offense Iona 15th ranked offense James Madison 102nd ranked offense Longwood 184th but with the 31 most possesions per game and the 345th ranked defense lots of points were going to be scored. Canisius held Iona to 69 at home which was there lowest total of the season. Down low Canisius big men shutdown Michael Glover(19 ppg) he was held to 6 points averages by the freshmen Josiah Heath. On the road the defense has definatly been skeptical but there young and now losing Balardo and using less players the Golden Griffens are going to try to control tempo tonight and play it slower. That doesnt play into South Dakota&#x27;s hands at all considering Canisius has changed there defense in the past two games trying to play the lanes less and staying in front of there man with lots of help defense. fact is there halfcourt offense is very bad and they shoot 26% from three. Canisius offense is ranked 241st but has no post presence. The guards are good but like to take it off the dribble hopefully they shouldnt have to many open threes tonight. I see this game easily being under just like the Iona game only thing that worries me is late game fouls and both teams are solid from the line. Canisius should play strong throughout though and win this game.Best of luck!

29-25 first half South Dakota shot 50% from 3 which is uncharacteristic hopefully worse shooting in the second half so Canisius can get this WIN! but just like I called it downlow its a grind it out game and not many points being scored there.

Anyone on here who has seen my posts knows I know my sports and know what im talking about. Hopefully after taking a long time for this writeup a few people followed, since school just ended there will be many more to come.
