Careful with Baylor...remember when they last played the public was still all over them...(and they lost outright as favs...) NO REASON for vegas to even that out

If you went back to the first of the season I think you would have a higher percentage in picking the team that would not cover than trying to pick the team that will not cover. In other words the teams with the longer winning streaks. Having said that in the NBA if a team loses against the spread 3 games in a row it's a 75% chance they will beat the spread the fourth game. I bet this game every time.

Thanks Disco.  I appreciate the explanation.

It appears that you have manually populated  your database (excel) with the teams and update daily?  Is there a site (i.e. Elias Sports Bureau) that allow you to download raw stats or allow you to filter their stats?  I've done this ATS updating the NFL for kicks, but NCAAF & NCAAB have much more volume.

I am interested in your comments.

For Bob's system you don't look at stats...and my additional criteria is looking at the betting market which means I'm not downloading data into a spreadsheet or anything along those lines...
 
Bob's system is fairly straightforward and is based on a logical theory, and I feel my addition is also logical...so we'll see how it goes

t nite will be a great test as ark st has not covered for the last 7 games they are soooooooooooooooooo OVERDUE,,,i say play them and if they lose  double your play until they do cover as law of averages says they will,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

DISCO-I hear ya about the Stats.  The only stats I was referring to were the ATS data.  Is their a link available to ATS wining in a row or losing in a row?  Or do you track that daily with your own model?

I guess what I am trying to say is there a quick way to grab ATS streak data.

there just aren't that many bets on it so it's hard to get a really good read but by the limited action I say it can be considered a hesitant system play

NC St. is 1-1@ Wake who is -1 small lean to wake but np
Mia. FL is 2-1 last 3 @ Virginia is +2 NP
Memphis 1-1 @ UAB is 1-1,,,system says np gutt says memphis
Purdue is 1-1 @ MICH is -1,,another np
USC is 1-2 in last 3 @ CAL is 1-1 so np

ummm, yea there are many places to get that...this is bob's side so maybe he can tell you where he gets them from...but right here on covers for example...just search ATS records maybe...

where do you get it from bob?

i run them manually since 12/28/08 i have a card file that i update every sunday morn yepppp all 270 + ,, have them filed alphabetically and every sun morn i confirm updates via coveres ATS rankings for legitimacy,,,,,,,,,,,,,,the small problem is following them thru the week as some may play 2-3 games in one week an others just 1,,, its a job ,but if i'm spending my money then i feel its worth the effort,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
