Hi Osborne...and god morning Bob.

Thanks for adding osborne.  If you have been tracking for several years you may have better data.  I did a regression of 2008-2009 and the major conferences for 2006-2008 and found the 3-0, 0-3 streaks to be at or slightly below .500 (note: I didnt count any streaks that ended a season or in post season tourney play as I do not intend to start a play with any team after Feb 1st).  Another poster found different numbers but I think it was methodology.  I also found 6 streask of 9 games last year, and one of 10, one or 12 in the 2006-2008.  What I did notice is that the longest streaks were teams like Depaul last year.

Bob, those NHL O/U - I am unsure what the criteria are that select those plays - is it the system from the systems and strats or a streak system.  Both NHL games today should go over as they combine for 18 Unders in a row!!!!

Hey bob, the over/unders have done very well this year, especially in CBB.  There has not been a team that has gone 6-0 or 0-6 in over/unders.  The only team that has gone to 5-0 or 0-5 is currently Illinois. 

Bandos, I see what you're saying about the 3-0 and 0-3.  However, if you think about it, it is is more profit for you regardless of it's at 50% or not.  For example:

If you have 5 teams at 0-3 and 3-0

Team A, Team B, Team C, Team D, Team E.

If team A and B win their 3-0 game.  That's +$50 (assuming betting $25) right there.  If team C and D lose their 3-0 and 0-3 game, but win their 4-0 and 0-4 game, then you're basically still winning that +$50.  And even if team E goes on a 6+ game losing streak, you are still only losing $25 from the 3-0 0-3 game.  So basically you had won $75 from doing that.

hey guys great work as always, I'm a little confused on the NHL totals system.  What is the criteria for these plays? Is there any or is Oiler just good at picking NHL over unders

Osborne - yup. That is right. I would love to start more streaks but I don't have the bankroll to keep on betting since there were 29 streaks of 7 or more last year.  Thanks

  I am considering Mich due to the injury to Det C.(Holman - have read he is out but covers has him as Questionable)

our friend elon take to the court this afternoon getting 24 from Wake.  Elon coming off a cover has already lost by 24 to Samford, 30 to NC Wil, 24 to Hofstra, and 23 to Coastal Carolina is there any chance they stay within 30 on the road playing an ACC team? Same line for me.  What a bunch of shit.  Last 3 poss.  Det. takes 3s  yet doesnt even try to foul. Poss. #1 missed 1 ft.  Poss. #2 shot clock violation.  Poss. #3 dribble oute clock.  Why and the hell would you throw up NBA 3 pts. if your not going to foul to extend the game.

Her Bob or Bandos, do you have the -4 streak numbers(0-4) streaks to continue/discontiue?  Im thinking of fading (4-0) teams but waiting until they hit (0-5) b/f playing them? Boys what do you think?

rfranci if you are correct with your calc then the W/L system at 5-6-1

and you show 0-4's are 1-5 then the 4-0 's must be,4-1,,,,for the week and now Mich also brings another loss to the 0-4's

Bob my data is from Sunday 12/6 and beyond ONLY. your numbers may vary from mine; but since Sunday,  (0-4) are 1-5, or 0-5-1 depends on if you won or pushed on the 12/9 SD game.......

The (4-0) since Sunday 12/6 are 4-3...........

That brings a cumulative record of -4/+4 since sunday 12/6 (including games on Sun, there was only one the Nova game)  at 5-8 or 4-8-1........ depending on the 12/9 SD game...........

Can I please get a confirmation?

P.S. the -5/+5 since 12/6 are 2-1 and the -6/+6 are 1-0
