The inexperience of Kentucky will show in the 2nd half. Washington will not let Kentucky go on a run in the 2nd half. They should win this game by 8 or more, especially if free throws become a factor late. The burners for Washington haven't turned on yet and they are up 1 at half with some questionable calls that will hopefully go both ways as things continue. Expect the defensive intensity to continue and step up a notch from Washington in the 2nd half that will translate into Kentucky turnovers and buckets to Washington on the break. Washington's perimeter game still hasn't gone green yet, I think they draw up a nice plan at halftime and pull away.

Washington looked more inexperienced and the referees, which isn't something I normally complain about took Washinton's style of play out of this game from the beginning.
Congrats to the KU backers, Washington just didn't show up.
