You're just like ever other person who reads box scores, I predict changes. So thank you, if you don't think it's intellectual, but I see myself as an insightful intelligent person. I love stats, and am great at math. So my ideas are pretty statistical.
But you've crossed a line. Not only do you have insignificant info, but you're a useless person. Nothing positive to add.
If you honestly, truly believe the big12 doesn't deserve a #1 you're a complete moron.

Back to RPI, I like the idea of it, but I think divisional bias destroys that calculation.
And my divison breakdown
Big 10 [about at par, always intense, very home driven styled game]
SEC [down days, a bad tennessee, a bad mississippi, a sub par mississippi st, improving lsu, poor georgia I like vandy a lot , kentucky are good]
Big 12 [Baylor is my longshot in the tourny since november, kansas is really really a threat as much as I dislike them, missouri, deadly, iowa st could surprise - best squad in a long time.
ACC {well below par, good Duke, UNC, florida st teams, decent miami, nc state, virginia BAD VT, BC, etc]
Anyways I wont go into depth, big east is good, but surprisingly no bias I think WVU has a great shot.
How unc got into the first seed from when this season started is beyond a joke. It's a money show.

Any surprise the little city Kansas, Baylor, Missouri were all snubbed?
Clearly the syracuse [new york], big kentucky blue, north carolina [the yankees of ncaa ball nowadays] and michigan state and their crazy fan base were represented.
It's just a joke, and I only mention it to see how many people are just oblivious to it's taking place.

When I consider all of the numbers and rankings from all of the top teams in the country, I come up with the same 8 teams that received the top 8 seeds.....why does a SEC team deserve a #1 seed?
Obviously Baylor doesnt deserve it.....based on pioneers research. maybe if Kansas or Missouri hadn't lost as many games as they did, then one of them could have had a 1 seed....but that didn't happen, so they were rewarded with a 2 seed instead....which is still a favorable path to the Elite 8.

You are nuts with this post. If you don't think North Carolina should be a #1 seed, you should prob never post on this website again and stick to watching girl's volleyball. Your only argument could be Mizzou possibly getting it over Michigan State. Remember when North Carolina pretty much dominated this #1 seed. If you look at their wins since their loss at Fl St, they have destroyed good teams, and the only reason they lost to Fl St in the conference championship...Hmmm let's see.. They weren't playing with the ACC defensive player of the year and future lottery pick.
Sure it was a bad loss to FL St, but hey sometimes you need a wake up call. NC for the championship and stop drinking the Big 12 kool-aid, kansas will be knocked out early.

You guys are just missing the POINT
And that is clear. The ACC fucking sucks. And none of you acknowledge that. Then I'm fine with ending the discussion. It just gets too much weight. And the big 12 is just better ,better plays, more competitive, more fun to watch.
If that's all you've got, then just stfu.

We're talking about dominant teams, not bandwaggoners. UNC suck. And despite the fact they pretty much get a 2 game bye now, there nobodies in this thing.
Give them whatever they need. They got nothing, and I'll let my words speak.
My fav's
Baylor, Cinci and Mizzou, all 10:1+ to win, got $500 on each.

ACC does horrible every year in the tourney! But if I'm not mistaken, 3 ACC teams have won the tourney the last 10 years. I don't care what you say,if you BLOW out tournament teams, it says a lot about you.
Sometimes teams get complacent and arrogant, and don't come to play every night The UK Wildcats are a great example of this losing in the SEC tourney and barely beating mediocre teams.
I like Mizzou and Baylor, but you will find out what happens to them against elite talent. The Big 12 does not have a team like a NC or Duke who is putting 5+ players in the league.
