So what you are saying is the big 10 was mediocre? Having 3 out of 10 in the sweet sixteen is mediocre? Having 5 teams out of 10 in the big dance is mediocre? Having 7 teams out of 10 in a post season tournament is mediocre? Then you sir are on crack. 

You said it right there, Evan turner CARRIED a mediocre team. He carried them to being a dangerous team in the tournament. 

If you gave evan turner teammates like demarcus cousins, patrick patterson, and eric bledsoe...i bet he would perform just as well as john wall in most categories if not better. And if you think the sweet sixteen is not elite in college basketball then you need to go to the baseball forum because you obviously dont know what you are talking about. The kid average 20 pts / 9.2 reb / 6 ast per game. 

Also if you think the SEC plays better basketball then the big 10, then you dont know what the hell you are talking about. 

All this sounds like to me is you lost BIG on ohio st. and you are trying to make yourself feel better.

Evan Turner is about as relevant as Patti Mills. What the fuck has he done???


Turner plays 40 mins a game. His stats are overblown. He has made the most of his ability and should be given credit for that. ESPN and Covers squares have blown him out of proportion. He puts in a shitload of hard work in the gym and can make an open jumper. So can 250 players in the NBA.

He is overrated as a college player and anybody who takes him in the top 15 picks will be disappointed and will guarantee themselves not to get better.

Turner is not overrated.  Ohio State had a good year because of him.  That being said... if I'm an NBA team, give me Wesley Johnson and be done with it.

John Wall has to be overrated as well I mean they lost to south carolina and tennessee.Then tennessee lost to georgia and georgia lost to LSU and hell everyone beat LSU..The logic is just horrible...

You can't take anything away from turner. He won't be a Lebron or Kobe in nba but he will sure in the he'll be an all star a majority of his career if he can stay healthy.

If Diebler (went 1-8) hadn't been such a puss n hit a shot or two more everyone would be saying how dominate Turner was and how he continues to carry this team on his back, but keep hatin on a future top 5 pick and the "over rated" big 10, which has Michigan State in the elite 8 and are minus kalin Lucas and had purdue in the sweet sixteen minus their best player Hummel and not to mention Ohio State who won the big 10 title and made it to the sweet sixteen all because of a "hyped up" player
