Nobody Mentions Evan Turner Not Shaking Hands????

All the crying about LeBron and not one mention about Evan Turner???

The most overrated player in college basketball storms off the court without shaking hands and it's not mentioned??

He plays 40 mins a game.In the Big 10!! Soooo overrated.

A very good basketball IQ. Knows the game. Under control. Those instincts alone enable him to be very good in the Big ummm overrated 10.

Whoever makes him a lottery pick will just ensure themselves more losing years. He is far from a franchise player in the NBA. He would be much better being a 20-30 pick to a good franchise as a role player.

Has GREAT basketball instincts and a GREAT basketball IQ. Just not the athleticism needed to succeed in the NBA or elite of college basketball.

Totally agree. The fact no one is bitching about him is how insignificant he is, brilliant fundamentals but no buzz about him. If Wall did that people would go apeshit.

Elite of college basketball.................

Tonight was part of the elite of college basketball. Turner carried this team. Turner had a great year.Arguably best player in the country. I assume that you actually watch the games...........RIGHT?

big ten had 3 teams in the sweet 16 and have 1 in the elite 8. i would say that is far from overrated.

I am on record voting Wall most outstanding player in college hoops this year. 

He is on team with one of best records and is the heart of the team. The knock against him is turnovers. Turner had 9 turnovers in 1 game in the tournament an 6 in the loss tonight and came up empty in crunchtime in their loss.

The lame Big 10 made Turner what he is. The tournament exposed him. He has gotten the most he can by hard work and dedication. He shoots 1000+ jumpers a day. He is a success story. But he is not elite. He can't carry a team when they need it most. Facts are facts.

The Sweet 16 is part of Elite college basketball???      



He plays 40 mins, is under control, and has a great shot due to the time he puts in the gym.

What did he do to carry his team tonight in the final 2 mins?? That separates a great player from a SPECIAL player.

He will be lucky to make one NBA all-star team and if I could get odds I would bet against that. He has made the most of his ability and for that I give him many props. That's all you can ask out of a person.

Goddamn Covers is a collection of squares when it comes to thinking for themselves instead of listening to ESPN.

I agree. I don't understand how one can say that Turner "can't carry a team when they need it most." The Buckeyes were only in tonight's game because of Turner. I really don't know what else you could have possibly expected of him. He was simply outstanding. I don't know how anyone can say the tournament "exposed him." His only poor game of the tournament was in the opening round. I suppose Big Ten competition simply doesnt compare to the likes of UC Santa Barbara.

Did you not watch the Big Ten tournament? Because all he did was close out games in the final two minutes. You see the game winning shot against michigan? You see how he single handedly beat illinois in overtime? Did you not see him pulling this mediocre ohio st. into being one of the elites in college basketball this year?  The guy has been SPECIAL all year.

When do you consider it to be elite? The Championship game?

He didn't see the "miracle" 3 to beat Michigan in the Big 10 tourney. Because he OBVIOUSLY doesn't watch the games. How can you call a kid like Turner out? He was Ohio St. basketball this season.

Holy shit. OSU and Mich St lost to North Carolina. Purdue lost their best player to injury.

Turner carried the team alright. A mediocre team. What did any of the Big 10 teams do outside the Big 10??? The conference schedule built the teams up bigger than what they were.

The Sweet 16 is elite?? HAHAHAHA

The Elite 8 is getting there and the Final 4 is DEFINITELY ELITE.

Nobody can argue my point that Evan Turner will most likely never be an NBA All-Star and WILL NEVER lead an NBA team to any success.

So at days end he is an above average college player and nothing else.

Maybe he didn't shake hands because he was murdered on the last two 3 point shots he took and got no call.  Maybe he felt like Tenn should have been shaking the refs hand not his.  Maybe you are an idiot cuz Turner is a STUD!  Watch the games.  How many players in the tourney have scored 31 points in a game?

He's a 6'7 player who has the quickness to play PG. He can shoot from anywhere on the court and can drive to the rim at will. Not only that but he makes very tough passes right on point and averaged 10 rebounds a game playing the point.

Good point, he's not very athletic at all and will STINK in the NBA.
