UNC...I placed a small wager on Lou, but I actually hope they lose ugly tonight so I can get more points for Sat contest with Pitt, I will be rooting for Pitt to win Wed at Uconn, would make for a great Lou line Sat.  I know its looking ahead, But Pitt, regular season, really struggles vs Lou.

Louisville rolls in their "white out" games, they have only participated in this for three years now, winning everyone of them. The whiteout means nothing to the players obviously but the fans really get into it around here. The atmosphere will be electric and the team really feeds of that, i'm expecting a comfortable win tonight, but like the under even more! The only real advantage for one team or another is Nova's advantage at the line, they shoot it considerably better than the ville and in a close game that should be BIG. Both D's step up tonight......

I can see the revenge factor with Pitt, but Lou plays Pitt extremely well, and has beaten them at home the past two years,  I know because I was at center court for both of them.  Pitt is horrid vs pressure. 

We will have to wait and see what transpires.

hey unc... as ive said before im living here in louisville and will be at the game tonight, i would love for our D to start playing better but we simply don't have the length/athltecism we did with TWill and E-5 in the lineup... we are playing better and I think swopshire may be the key tonight, if he can keep playing with this new confidence it will make things easier for samardo down low and hopefully free him up for some open looks...  also watch kuric on the offensive glass, he is a beast and always seems to be in the right place.. rolling with the cards but not feeling confident, luckily reynolds always sucks against though

BOL tonight

BOL UNC!  I'll take the home teams as well in these amped up environments.  Louisville has started to come around as they typically do to start big east play.  Their guards need to stroke the ball tonight but I think they will get good open looks as Nova doesn't defend the 3 particularly well.  To me the key is Sam Samuels.  He needs to be a beast tonight.  Villanova really doesn't have anyone to check him as Pena is foul prone and Taylor King just flat out shouldn't be considered a post player.  If Samuels comes out motivated, and gets a few stick backs early, this will be huge!!  I really like Nova's attack though and with their veterans this surely will be a hotly contested game.  I don't like laying the 3 to the big east preseason favorite but the spot is too good.

As for Bedlam.  Rivalry game and I always look at it with an eye towards the home team.  This OU team is wildly inconsistent but have taken care of biz at home.  I think part of OU's problems are they are still searching for their identify and some of the players aren't buying in to their roles.  I see them similar to Tennessee in that, when motivated and focused, and they can put playing time and shot volume aside, they can be very dangerous.  We saw the Vols demonstrate that yesterday and I completely overlooked how much focus means to a team like Tenn and how much a big time national stage provides that focus.  OU will be the same tonight.  You hit it on the head with Okla St.  They will live and die by the 3.  If they are hitting, OU could get discouraged.  I bet OU will defend well enough to make that diffiucult.

Love the Louisville play!  I might stay away from the OU OK St. game, too many good shooters on OK St., you have to think one of them will be hitting.  Anderson shot the lights out last year in the game although it was at home. 

Agree with you that we need a big UCONN win to pound the Panthers Sat.

thanks for the write ups UNC. I'm having a hard time getting a handle on ok/ok state. It seems like neither team is playing their best ball right now... Ok state hasnt impressed me losing to RI at mohegan last weekend, and OK losing to Utep and getting blown out by baylor scares me. Gonna tail you on this one hope the crowd and team is pumped up for this one. Thanks a lot buddy!
