I think 60% or a little better. Really thought they would beat K St at home and was wrong. I didnt bet them a ton as the spreads were usually a bit more than I wanted to lay....

I agree. Nix,Payne and Green will give us problems down low, but I dont think the MSU guards are in the same league as Mizzous.

I dont think MSU makes it that far to tell you the truth, so Izzo wont be able to effect the game from his couch.

Wow great pick Train. I didn't even see this post before. I also Took Mizzou to Win it all back on Dec 9th....I wish I would have put a bit more down but 45-1 odds was pretty awesome. This team can win it all. I also love our Draw...At first I was thinking I would be pissed if we didn't get the 1 seed or at least the #2 in the midwest but they gave us the next best with what I think is a pretty easy road of teams that we should handle. The boyz are on fire right now too. Making smart decisions. Biggest surprise for me this season has been English. He really has stepped up. I was always a critic of him but he is making it happen. I am still a bit worried about flip at times. I like him to score but when he gets firing to many outside shots it makes me uneasy.

Definitely a great play seeing as they are down to +1000 now. Missouri is without question my favorite team to watch in CBB. Most dynamic and skilled team by far imo.

It will probably be Missouri-MSU in the Elite 8 but don't sleep on the Memphis/Saint Louis winner.

Not exactly sure to be honest. I have the 80-1 in some round robins with college football and hockey from november. Tiny risk with huge payouts thats already been paid for as the other games are already winners. I have open parlays with Mizzou as the last leg to win between 15 and 20K , on probably $40 worth of bets. I'll try and copy and paste a couple of the bets tomorrow.

true

but really, barring any miracles, I think there are about 8 teams that have a legitimate chance to win it all. and I have one of em at +4500 (got in after the line dropped). The entertainment itself is worth the price. Plus if they get into the later rounds -  well then there is the opportunity to hedge (if unhappy with match-ups)

I do love Mizz and the way they play however it looks like they are in the hardest region or at least the most competitive. At what point do you start to hedge with 20K on the line? Only 40$ bet is it smart to put say 1k on all opposing teams and hope they play a few close games as the favorite, and double it with any loss and just play that MIzz will not win it all?

I might put a little on the Sweet 16 opponent assuming Mizzou is giving points, setting up a middle situation. The rest of the games should be pretty close to pick ems. This of course is assuming they get by Norfolk and either UF or UVA.....

I think Memphis will give them all they can handle and N Mex will be tough in the sweet 16.....Neither team is Big 10 slow....

If they had Bowers think they'd be anybodys equal...great guards...but not sure they can keep Sparty from pounding them inside if they meet....Pressey brothers,Dixon,English and Denmon a gifted group...

Bowers injury was actually a blessing in disguise for this team. The 4 guards they put on the floor are a matchup problem for anybody in the country. With Bowers, they are still good, but wouldnt be the same.

You forgot to mention Ratliffe. He is way quicker than Nix and Payne, and Draymond for that matter. I think they'll be ok.....

Haha I was trying to remember who I remember seeing had a nice long shot future on them, not surprised it was you.  I had $350 on the Brewers, dont remember the odds I got but they were high.  I am still kicking myself in the ass for not hedging some.  I hate the Brewers hahaha.  Good luck!!!
