$$$$ THREAD CONCEPT - This thread is for all of us to share our expertise with everyone else to benefit the group.

THIS IS NOT A PICKING CONTEST!

PLEASE make special note of this! If you have an area of expertise, please make some $$$$ choices from your area of expertise when you have a game you are confident enough in to call it a "$$$$ PLAY". The difference between a PICK and a $$$$ PLAY is that a PICK is a game you like, a $$$$ PLAY is a game that you KNOW. If you are claiming your choice is a $$$$, and you really have NO true knowledge of that game, then you are just cheating us and posting your PICK just for attention and to see your name on the board.

RULES FOR POSTING - We will not track your $$$$ PLAY if you do not follow these rules. You are welcome to still post your PICK or card, but unless you do the things below, we won't be putting your $$$$ on the spreadsheet.

Only one $$$$  per day and a MAXIMUM of 4 per week. 

A week starts on Mon and ends on Sun.

- No buying points.

- No other "line-manipulations" like teasers, etc.

- No parlays

- No props

- $$$$ PLAYS need to be -129 or lower.  Anything -130 and over, take the -1.5 goals or runs.

- Do not try to cheat on lines. We, as a group, are all over the lines and every time someone gives a stinky spread, it is always called out. If the line is off, the $$$$ doesn't go into the spreadsheet.

AND THE MOST IMPORTANT RULE!

You must give an ORIGINAL explanation as to why you KNOW this $$$$ PLAY will win. And don't just "stat" us to death. Tell us about the game. DO NOT COPY YOUR WRITE-UPS! People on this thread are all over the internet and will find your plagiarism. I guarantee it. You can use Last 10, ATS, etc., numbers to support your argument, but stats from a gambling website are not an explanation.

Thank you for your understanding and your help in keeping this thread for the benefit of everybody, not just a place for you to blather out random picks and toot your own horn.

I know when to quit, guys.  0-2 this week on $$$$'s with that horrendous Washington meltdown and then that killer last night with ASU.  Shutting down the account early this year.

Good luck everyone.  You guys have this thing running smoothly.  You can keep it rolling without me.  I'm not doing anything except costing people money at this point.

Maybe check you all next fall.......

I agree with easy. All you're doing is helping people, so don't put anyone else's losses on yourself. We're all adults and make the plays ourselves. 

Why would you quit ? That was just a bad pick. You never deserved to win that play. Cal was losing the whole game. I mean how can you act like such a baby Holmey. ? You have good picks and you have bad picks .,That is gambling. I mean closing the account as if that was such a horrible event. Grow a sack and come back strong.

Holmey if this is your last thread for the season I want to say thank you for all the work you put in! Big props to you! Been in the plus since I seen and tailed this thread! Also big thanks to all who have contributed to this. Best I ever seen and I look forward to next season!

He did this same thing in the old CBS days usually he would get pissed at a poster and run off I didn't say anything because I was hoping he changed ,,,,,,guess not.

Hey, I'm 1-3 this week and even under on other non $$$$ picks..and I think I'm a very ethical person...I never feel I owe other gamblers anything though and no one's ever told me I did...even if you were paid for picks, you don't...

so a few days ago when the Ajax pick was posted..i was going through my lines, and noticed this under Netherlands Minor League Soccer.

Keep this thread up even if you aren't playing!  I've only been posting picks for the past four days, however I've followed the thread much longer.  I follow it because I enjoy good conversation pertaining to sports.  Most everybody here contributes something positive.  Many different viewpoints, which is nice to read and converse/debate about whether you're making a wager or not.  Only plays from this thread I made today were UNC and my Gtown pick.  Like other previously said, you didn't cost anybody money, we all submit bets at our own will, not because this thread forces our hand.  Cal line smelled from the start, turned out to be a pretty bad beat at the end, but one thing I've learned from sports betting.... There are good and bad days.  It's not the good days where you make your money, but the discipline to take a step back on the bad days that SAVE your money!! Tomorrow is a new day, keep doing your thing.  Lastly, thanks for creating this thread, it's been fun, and I think it's only going to get more exciting.  Can't beat championship week and the tournament!

Well boys, someone has to keep this ball rolling. My 3 $$$$ plays this week are 3-0, and I have a nice 8 night plus column night going with 10 of last 11 nights winning
I have one more bullet to fire and kudos to USC_HOLMEY. Giving him the full love he deserves for being the adminstrator of this thread. Now for Sundays play! $$$$ Indiana -5 vs Maryland. Hoosiers just close to magical at home.#13 Kenpom, #8 in adjusted offense. Maryland #22 kenpom, #34 in adjusted offense. Limited stats as scoresandodds does not have this game up for view tonight, but know Terps are 4-5 last 9 away SU and Hoosiers are 10-0 home last 10 SU. ATS, last 10 games are equal. Same old story of last home game, senior night, etc. Indiana rolls by double digits and marylands overall season ATS record of 8-13-1 just doesnt match well here in this spot. MY PLAY IS ON $$$$ INDIANA HOOSIERS -5 $$$$

I'm buying into SMU playing their championship game tomorrow. Cincy not sure if they will get back the two starters they've been missing. Second leading scorer in a slump.

SMU+1.5 Have to believe this is there Dance party,they know they can go nowhere so why not go out blazing,Nic Moore can play and should lead his team to victory,only way this doesn't happen is he gets no help and they miss 15 FT's which are both possible but I don't believe happen.Give me Brown to have his guys playing their best in the last game for them.Cincy will get to play in the Nit at least.

First I would like to thank USC_Homey for all his hard work. I never post anything but I have been following for a few weeks. This is the BEST site!!! I am actually winning and that feels great. I am going to miss this if you do not keep it going. I need all your posts. Please reconsider or pass it on to someone that will follow in your footsteps. 

Been on Covers for  sometime now, and I think this thread allows all of us to gain insights and great write ups on certain games. I look to it first, and many times throughout the day. Homey you've created something great and wish you can continue bro....

Holmey you can't be so brash in your decision to quit what you started,we all win and lose.Some are bad beats and some are bad bets,you have had 2 real bad beats,not bad bets.Stick it out till when you said you will and then let whatever happens happen.Not going to beg for anything but just trying to say it the way it is,Gator and a few others weren't satisfied at first but cooler heads prevailed and he is continuing to post and good thing because he had FSU and I tailed and I won.We all go through losing droughts that is the reality,fighting through them is what makes us better,by doing what you are with only 4 plays a week and no higher so called units lets us know who is really a solid "winner finder" or so called capper.No certain criteria/trend/system works every week plain and simple.Certain things pan out more then others but you cn't simply play against a line drop or public darling,some hit some lose but the inside stuff that some share here is what makes it work best.Don't be so rash in your decision and rethink it, and finish out your original plan!!!!If it was as simple as always playing the reverse line move or public darling or unranked fav vs a fav Vegas would go broke,betting is a business now more then ever with all the off shore garbage so only inside info can help us,please continue to share....TOPFLIGHTS even though I have no allegiance to you and you have a paid program you stop bye and share good insights,big props for that.Wether it is to draw clients or not it is productive to the thread,some would say don't need your posts your just here for one thing,I say BS if you drop off winners looking for a client all the better,just proving yourself is all your doing in my eyes.
