Well, conceptually, its because this is a marathon, not a sprint.  At the very beginning, we allowed 4 a week, and we had like 10 people posting 4 LOCKS a day every Saturday and every Sunday and it bogged down the thread and ruined the numbers and just made the thread a pile of mush.

The 1 per day is to push the concept of 'selectiveness', which is the most important skill to master when it comes to betting, IMO.  Being able to sort out and decide in your own mind which play is better and why it is better, rather than just blasting out 13 even plays per day like a lot of people do on these boards.  Throwing out a bunch of 'equal' plays is the loser way of capping.  Its just bleeding juice to the books and almost nobody can win for the long run by betting 10+ even bets every day and the thing is, everyone who is an actual bettor knows this to be a fact, yet people seem to either ignore it or pretend to not know it.  I never take anyone seriously who posts 50+ plays per week because I know that person is not actually betting, or, if they are, then its going to be for about 2 weeks max.  In 25+ years of doing this, I have never seen anyone who bets real money win by betting even amounts on every bet, and bet like 200 plays per month.  It doesn't work.

So, I guess that's the long answer.  If you have 3 plays you LOVE today, give us the one you love the MOST and make it your $$$$.  We just want one.  I do not encourage people to tail 15 plays a night from this thread.  Find 3 or 4 and try to go 3-0 or 3-1.  That is how you win over the long haul, not by tailing 17 plays a day.  All that does is water down the 3 really solid tails you do like.

If you have more plays, post them.  We want to see everyone's insight, even if its not a $$$$.  Thanks!

LOL.....actually, it was because CBS changed their avatar rules to say that all avatars had to be "sports-related", and I had used my Cube one for like 7 years at that point, and everybody was so used to it, that I really didn't want to change it.  So, CBS told me I needed to change it, and I just responded "Why would I not be able to keep an avatar of Warren Sapp?" and they never responded and never made me change it! 

 Do you rate your plays and bet different amounts?

Hey, if you have plays you love, then post them.  The whole idea is to just get every person's 4 best plays of the week.  Posting a play with a writeup, even if it is not a $$$$ and is not tracked, is still helpful.  I certainly don't want to discourage any knowledge and information swapping.

Hey Hiper.  I am not sure why, but I have none of your $$$$'s being tracked.  Check post #37 on today's thread and make sure you did all those things.  If you are posting $$$$'s that fit the parameters, I certainly don't want to miss tracking them, but as of right now, your name is not even on the spreadsheet.
