I took a big live dog on here yesterday that won outright. Today I'm going in the opposite direction. Rider  is 5-12 on the road, only covering 5 of those. They played yesterday afternoon, with not a lot of rest facing a Monmouth team coming who just beat them by 21 at home and off 4 days of rest and has a 2-0 record against them this year. This will be a huge public play but grab the -9, or 9.5 while you can...

You are close, but a little off geographically.  That is Belgian League, RF's pick is in the Netherlands/Holland League (Eerste), which is their 2nd tier league.  Some books might not offer lines on it.  I know Bovada and 5dimes do though.  

Incidentally, I like that over possibly in Belgium too.  Haven't played it  yet though.  




Great job everyone last night on the picks, and good discussion in general.  Even if you aren't on the leaderboard (like me) it's good to still contribute info/ideas to the discussion.  Even if your angle might be opposite of a posted play, it's good to look at everything.  Check your ego at the door and let's be productive!  

Sorry I don't have more to add on hoops, been so busy with non-sports related things that I haven't been watching games much at all this season.

Good luck today everyone.  In 5 hours I'll be in Milwaukee getting wasted.  And in about 20 hours I'll be at a bar watching the North London Derby!  GO SPURS!

$$$$ Wichita State -18.5

1. Wichita is an animal at the end of the year always trying to beat up on lesser competition in the rare case they need an at large bid - This is one of the years where they really may need one as they could lose in the championship of the conference tournament. I fully expect them to try and run up the score as much as possible.

2.  They have already beat Loyola by 26 and 22 points this year - Once being a week ago. The first game where they won by 26 on Jan 27th was a horrible position as well with Evansville up next and coming off a 34 point win off Bradley - Didn't matter, they still slaughtered them. They are in a far better spot today in the first round of the tournament coming off a modest (for them) 16 point win against Illinois State.

Lock it in on this one for a nice early win.

My $$$$ Charleston/Delaware UNDER 129.5

The College of Charleston loves to play ugly basketball!!  A lot has changed with this team after Canyon Berry went down to a season ending injury! With him in the lineup, C of C went 9-4 scoring 73 ppg. Since then, they are a 7-9 team only averaging 59 ppg. 

C of C  has gone under its posted total of 129.5 points in 14 out of the last 15 games.   In their two games versus Delaware this year they won 59-58 and lost 62-59.  Delaware was 2-16 in conference play. There is a very strong argument to take Delaware with the points in this game!! My line open up at 9.5 and is now down to 7.5.  Pretty tough for a team who can't score to be laying 7.5. on a neutral court! 

I was torn between taking the under or taking Delaware with the points... I took the under because I do not like betting on bad teams!! My lock is C of C/Delaware UNDER 129.5.  BOL Gents!!

Actually I don't believe there are cuts in any WGC event or Fed Ex cup events. You actually point out exactly why I favor Donaldson . Piercy putted lights out. Going into the week he was the 141st ranked in strokes gained. I believe he reverts to the mean. Over half of Donaldson's rounds at Doral the last 3 years have been par or better and 4 that weren't came on the weekend. Guess we will find out in 6+ hours.

Rebel this is the write up/support I was looking for. I was surprised with a 1:00pm est tip-off there wasn't more chatter around this. I'm laying the 18.5 and backing the Shockers.

Still catching up on today's card but my early plays are going to be Wichita State -18, and High Point -3 in first half. 

Still waiting on my book to post totals for Missouri Valley Conference.

Thanks for the golf plays I will be tailing as I haven't had a chance to watch any of the first round yesterday.

No sir.  I shut down my gambling accounts after the first weekend of the NCAA Tourney every year, so I will be stopping running the thread after that weekend also.  Plus, I have run the thread in the past for parts of a few seasons for baseball, and the results on LOCKS (what we call $$$$'s) were NOT good.  Like safely under .500.  I think I ran it three times and the best results there ever were for baseball was just over 47%, and that included a lot of -125-type plays, so the actual cash results were even worse.

Anyone is welcome to continue on however you guys want here.  It can stay on the CBB boards or move wherever.  I have had several people ask me if they can run a similar thread on the NBA or NHL boards, and I am fine with that.  I will say that BY FAR the only best results we have had over the last 10 years have been in CBB.  In fact, I can say that the only other sport that is in the + over that time is NHL, and that is just barely.  The NBA is the worst of all of them, with a winning percentage under 45%.

If I thought this concept could actually make money in any other sport - Soccer, NBA, NHL, MLB - I would keep it going for sure.  I have results that include thousands of results in all those sports, and none of them have made money in this format.  Also, the thread was kept going after I stopped each year by someone on CBS and I don't think the results were good.

Getting Holm cheap at -310 imo, if my Friday plays out good I'm prob gonna take holm. Taking away from McGregor fight, -550 last I looked, just too much juice
