$$$$ Texas -4 vs Oklahoma state.Isiah Taylor coming off his worst game of the season at home vs Kansas. I expect a big game from him. He will be able to create for everyone. Jacob Felix should also get his. Guard play wins this game. Texas by double digits. Pick Texas

Dutch Jupiler League - Almere City vs Jong Ajax

Going back to the well for the second time this week as the play is in the Dutch 2nd division (Jupiler League).

The team with the highest scoring games (Almere City - 3.81 gpg) play host to the 3rd highest (Jong Ajax - 3.5 gpg).

Jong Ajax have conceded 2+ goals in 11 of 13 road games. Almere City have conceded 2+ in 7 of 13 home games.

After their big over earlier in the week Jong Ajax is now 12 out of 14 with 3+ goals. Almere City are also an impressive 20/26 in 3+ goal games.

I like the fact that neither team has a lot to play for as this should lead to an open game...no real reason to play tight defense. Almere had an 11 goal affair the last time out but I don't want to get too greedy and will settle for 4.

Another highly juiced game but I'm willing to lay it.

Perfect at home this season and the wins haven't been close. Add in the revenge factor when they lost as favorites on the road last month. I'm not 100 percent but this will probably be there senior night and they will want to finish with a perfect record at home and do it in dominating fashion. They have made me a lot of money at home and I'm sticking with them and getting on it before the line moves.

Also for those of you who love at least 1 stat? Akron shot 6 - 11 in the last meeting while Kent St shot 22-32 and only won by 9. That is an a number that won't be close to being repeated. GL to everyone and let's keep this thing moving.

This will be my first $$$$ pick on here.

WGC Cadillac Championship 2nd Round Matchups

Whats great about Round 2 in all golf tournaments? It's that the pairing for betting purposes is always the same as Round 1. Rounds 3 and 4 pairings are based on players with similar scores leading up to 3rd and 4th round. This is why I LOVE betting on round 2 in ANY golf tournaments. You can really see who played well against their playing partner in round 1and decide the matchup you want to bet on. Here are my picks for Round 2. BTW I was 5 for 6 on Round 1. Documented in the Pro Golf forums.

$$$$Phil Mickelson ML (-137)$$$$ vs. JB Holmes
This is by far my favorite pick and my $$$$ for the day. Phil was having so much fun out there. Currently he’s only 1 shot behind the leader, so he will be gunning to catch that #1 spot moving into Saturday. When Phil starts draining his putts, its dangerous for the rest of the field. Round 1 he did just that. On the front 9 (he started from the back, so the front was actually his back 9) he had a CLEAN card. 4 Birdies and 5 pars. His shots onto the green were dead on, and of course his short game was ON POINT. If thats not enough for you to back Phil, lets take a look at JB Holmes. Holmes was actually runner up last year finishing 2nd behind Dustin Johnson. But right now, it doesn’t seem like the same course for JB. He had more bogeys than birdies, 5 to 2 and that doesn’t even include the double he had on 14th.

Jason Dufner ML (-124) vs Robert Streb
I don’t normal bet on Dufner. But man after watching his performance in round 1, I just had to take him for round 2. For the day Dufner made a total of 190ft in putts. THATS OUTRAGEOUS. He had a total of 7 birdies, compared to Streb’s 2. This means Dufner really knows where to score out on the course. Streb played a very safe round. 2 birdies, 2 bogeys finishing even for the day.

Adam Scott ML (-104) vs Dustin Johnson
Adam Scott coming off a win last week, played well. Could have done better. Opened the round with an eagle and then went bogey, bogey. So he did leave 2 shots on the course, leaving those easy par conversions. At that point his game changed. Started pin seeking, making par saves, and then finished last two holes birdie, birdie. Solid. Dustin Johnson, first off is not clutch. Also he is just too long for this course. Yes he can get to many of the longer par5 in two, but Trump National Doral is more about accuracy and draining putts. Both of which DJ didnt seem to have in round 1. Currently Scott(-4) DJ(E)

My Pick for Friday is TEXAS -4.Seems like we missed the best of the line at -2.5 but I don&#x27;t think I mind. And yes if you adjust the spread from their previous meeting to take into consideration court change it should be lower at -2. However here is the deal...1) This Oklahoma St team is just done done done. They just look tired last few games and they are just thin in the ranks. Texas coming off a bad loss but still ranked Top 25 and a loss here definitely hurts their Tourney ranking. OK State is down in all the major categories I look at last 3 games. EFG%, TPP, ORB%, and FT Shooting %. They are either LAST or in the 300s last 3 games they have played. So this tells me my sense that this team has given up is even more correct than what my eyes are already telling me.2) Last game these teams played 3 players accounted for 37 of the 69 points OK State scored. Evans - OUT - 34 minutes - 12 pointsJeffry Carroll - Questionable - 24 minutes - 7 pointsLeyton Hammonds - Questionable - 37 minutes!!!! - 18 pointsSo an already thin team may be losing all that? Only a half point adjustment from -2 (adjusted previous game) to -2.5 opener for this matchup? No real surprise this jumped to -4 in a blink of an eye. Depending on the line I may also be looking to play OK St Team Total Under if it is anywhere near 65-69. If these guys are missing, scoring under 60 is not that hard to imagine.3) SHAKA SMART - This pretty much doesn&#x27;t need too much clarity. He gets his team ready to play and game plans well. If you are going to take road favorites to cover you bet on good coaches!!!!!!! Thats all that needs to be said.It scares me slightly that Texas is not a great FT shooting team and that can hurt you down the stretch covering on the road. Also Texas 4-5 on the road SU isn&#x27;t really spectacular. However, they are 6-3 on the road ATS and quite frankly you have a team with plenty of life off a pretty bad kick in the teeth last week. Good free throw shooting or not they just grind this OK St down to nothing and cover -4. This is also a play even just from a market standpoint. If this doesn&#x27;t go to -5 or -6 by game time I would be really surprised. So -4 has value even though I wish I could have gotten -2.5.$$$$ 2k Texas -4
