Meaningless 3-pt at the buzzer: 2
OT screwjobs: 2
Losses by 1 or 1/2: 6
Chase record (trying to stop): 0-1
Yesterday: 1-0
-Felt good laying off ND because they struggled to shut down the UConn
guards even with Kemba's poor shooting night. Hit my Iowa-tOSU over even
though the Bucks beat me in their other game yesterday, and I had a
good time at the PC-Pitt game. Seems to me that Pitt is going to
struggle with full court presses/traps so I will look to fade them
against UL and the Hall, while PC just isn't good and doesn't really
know how to win close games making the huge mistakes like they did last
night. They could be a good dog to play because they were on the ropes
twice last night and stayed in it and got the cover.
Wednesday notes:
penn st 7-8, duke 20-23, bc 14-16, lou 11-12, gw
3-4 (could be off), rich 8-9, rut 5-6, tcu 11-14, slu 4, wisc 10-11,
tenn 6-7, so miss 10-12, utep 9-10, unlv 2-4
leans:
BC -10.5
La Salle pk
Tennessee -6
UNLV -3.5
...nothing really jumps out unless i can get UNLV below a possession or Tennessee a little lower

Any thoughts on UTEP laying a touchdown to Tulsa? I don't see a lot of talk about this game on the board (which is usually a good thing), but the Miners easily covered in all 3 meetings last season, with two of them being in Tulsa.

I think UTEP is going to challenge UCF for the title right now, and I never like going against Randy Culpepper that's for sure. Meanwhile Tulsa is a ton worse from last year with what they've lost and the Miners have a pretty good HCA. Thought about laying the points, but I haven't watched Floyd's Miners yet this year and they're not as highly-rated for me like they were last year with Caracter and Moultrie (transferred to Miss State).
I just gave myself some homework to study up on them

got what i wanted last night with UNLV trailing at half, but didn't pull the trigger and I'm glad I didn't because the Y turned it around. Probably should have played Tennessee because Memphis is a fraud, but didn't want to lay points with that team until they showed they could win a game.
Think i'm going to use this thread for today because i've been really busy with work so far.
updated leans: XU/CIN u130-- my numbers say 133-134 but the rivalry should help defense here and I think XU will struggle to score if Cincy doesn't let them get out and run. In the last 9 meetings the under is 6-3 with two unders losing because of OT. The average 1st half point total is 60.3 and the number is 60 or 60.5 depending on where you look. May go under there, but I'm not sure yet.
ASU -4.5-- going to try and fade Cal/Stanford whenever I can, and I actually think ASU is better than I expected pre-season although they're not very good. Stanford is really bad and even worse away from home. The line hasn't gone up yet so I'm waiting on it to see if I can get a better number
