its not relevant because we don't give a shit how many units he is putting on each game. that just indicates to the reader how strongly he feels about the game in question.
you clearly don't get it. sorry for cluttering your thread odds.

wrong buddy.
the amount of his units tell you much more than how much he likes a play.. oddsbuster is down a lot of units and although thats none of my business, knowing that he is risking 20% of his original bankroll on FAIRFIELD along with 80% of the betting world tells me a lot.

I admit I follow your threads (among others) and read your insights, but no matter which way I go, it's me pulling the trigger.
That said, I like your post enough to look at a game that I passed over the 1st time.
On another note, Vill on paper looks very nice, but Calhoun was pretty pissed at UConn's play against Cincy, so I have to think they'll be ready to play, and at least keep it close..
UConn +9.5
BOL
Uconn sucks and Nova is @ home that being said because i like nova your Uconn wager will most likely be goldeb then

This will not end well for you Odds. When you are in a rut you should be betting less, not more. Your chasing and praying more than handicapping. You are forcing your plays whether you realize it or not and this is scared money on Fairfield tonight.

I dont mean to fry but to put a 100 unit play on a Road favorite trap line is absurd. Fairfield best player was lost for the season last week. This is a pure tilt play on your part. Not gambling.
This just proves to me you dont follow this as close as I do. Anyone who is accually listening to clowns like this should not be gambling ( hence by BS record as of late). But htis idiot who just said this is an absolute moron. Everyone Yorel Hawkins is not only NOT the best player on his team he was not meven the 2nd best player on his team. Here's the facts:
Derek Needham the teams leading PG and teams 1st year player has lead this team all season averaging 16ppg 5.6asp along with 3.4rpg and 2spg
Anthony Johnsonhas played 25 games this season averging 14.6ppg 9rpg and 54 blocks. (4th year player)
Meanwhile all the people telling me i'm crazy and on tilt because their so called best player is out for the season Yorel Hawkins was averaging 14.7rpg and 5.7rpg with only 9blocks in 19 games and just 1.5apg. So please people get your facts straight.
Yorel Hawkins was only the 3rd best player on his team at best click on the players and see for yourself. It's amazing how so many can kick a brother why he;s down here on this sire but what amazes me more than anything else is how stupid people look in the process.
I have suffered some of the worst luck these past few days but at least my info and research is correct. Yorel Hawkins the best player on this team. Come on guys do the research.

Don't blow your bankroll before baseball season. That is a sport I see you make money on every year. Spring training is right around the corner.==

Fairfield is just the 1st stepping stone back to the positive side.

I'm telling you this is a great game to get back some lost money. Surely my Degen side has taken over lately on a spill of betting too many games and such. But I have'nt lost my ability to find good games. thanx for the kind wishes and yes i need this game. I will be heading out for the cottage again tonight to watch this game on the net. I will be retooling big time if I lose this one.

Just good luck Odds!!! You're a stronger person than I...hence the reason I dont post plays...I always check your picks cause I know you put in your time....most appreciative...with that said, cap the kansas game tonight...i know its a big public game, but I really like kansas to handle an undefeated at home A+M team GETTING 7.5...there's a reason an undefeated home team is getting 7.5, and it's because they won't cover....they can't rebound with Kansas especially on the O boards and Kansas can flat out score in more ways than A+M (no 3 point shooters)...it will be a small play for me, but would like to hear your thoughts on the game

Hey Odds I'm with you on FF tonight. Funny how Hawkins is suddenly their best player now that he is injured?? Has anyone given ANY reason why Manhattan is the better play? I'm all ears.
BOL buddy

I like the play although not quite as much as you do. I live in Fairfield and follow the team closely.
Manhattan just beat a decent but semi-overrated Iona team (as huge dogs) on Friday but they barely held them off in the second half after coming out scorching in the first half. Fairfield is the second best team in the MAAC and Needham is the John Wall of the conference, he belongs in the MAAC POY argument.
Both Manhattan and Fairfield have been playing better of late. Fairfield has not missed a beat without Hawkins, his loss is overrated. Fairfield is well balanced with Needham running the show along with good shooters and a few good big bodies. There coach is good and has had them playing hard all season with no excuses, as they have had other injuries other then Hawkins too.
I see Fairfield winning this game by 2 or 3 buckets as they have superior talent and have played better ball all season. This is gambling and the MAAC can be inconsistent but I want my money on the better team who is playing for second place in the conference and a bye in the conference tourney (as well as not having to see Siena till the finals). I'm putting 3 units on them to cover. GL

Here's little report on Needham from teh fairfield website...
FAIRFIELD, Conn. -- Guard Derek Needham collected his ninth Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) rookie of the week award after leading the Fairfield University men's basketball team to a 1-1 week. He was also named the Connecticut 6 player of the week for his performance.
Needham averaged 23 points and 2.5 assists in the two games, highlighted by a 26-point effort against Sienia College. The guard made eight of 14 field goal attempts against the Saints, and played all 40 minutes of the game. He followed up with 20 points in an overtime win at Rider, his fourth straight 20-point performance. He also registered three rebounds and three assists in the game. Needham also played every possible minute against the Broncs, finishing the contest with a career-hgih 45 minutes.
The Dolton, Ill. native has won the MAAC Rookie of the Week award nine times this season. The award has been issued 14 times this season. He is currently the team's top scorer with a 16.2 scoring average. Needham needs 22 points to set the school freshman scoring record, trailing only Joe DeSantis' mark of 427 points established during the 1975-76 campaign.
