Kansas is a very good team, excellent team. But this is college ball, emotion and early execution can knock a team on it's heels from the start. I think Texas will get off to a good start here and hold the lead throughout and eventually pull away. Texas wins by 6 to 8 points.
Theres a first for everything ;) jk. BOL tonight ATL, im going to be just a spectator. seems like the safer bet

I am sick of people saying teams overlook games, tell me why a team would overlook a game and win? I can maybe see them taking a team lightly, but not overlooking them. Anyway, I see this game just like the Cincy/Syracuse game yesterday, in fact I hear alot of the same arguments for and against and this game will end the same Kansas, better talent, winning on the away court. IMO but good luck to All!

Kansas has been dodging bullets, my experience with betting is when a team keeps dodging bullets like Kansas the last few games eventually they get caught, tonight is the night.
Examples:
1) Nebraska game them a scare at home mind you.
2) @ Colorado OT Win
3) @ Kansas State OT Win
On the road against a good Texas Squad as I said before give me Texas +2 in this spot, they get up for this game. Texas has something to prove here....
Pick Texas +2

talent disparity....i see it all the time as a coach and even when i played i remember taking games/teams easy because i knew we could turn it up later and win. if you played sports you would realize this happens allllll the time

Exactly. Every team realizes their own status and how to increase that status. If you were a college player and had Nebraska on saturday and Texas on monday, tell me which game you would be thinking of. Haven't you heard of the take games one thing at a time? If people actually followed it, you wouldn't hear it every single day.

KU is the better team right now, no doubt. However, you have to consider they've needed OT in their last 2 road games and they've not played their best recently. Add in the fact that Bill Self has yet to win in Austin with the Jayhawks (they play in Austin every other year due to conference setup). 'Hawks have handled UT on neutral courts in the Big12 tourneys, but not in Austin.
This is UT's biggest game of the season and they'll be amped (so will the crowd). Again, KU is the better team, but tonight is a game they can very easily lose and it's worth at least playing a tiny bit on UT for the trap.
Took UT +3 a while earlier.

It will be a big test no doubt... gotta put my money Kansas as Texas cannot be trusted to keep the post out of foul trouble, shoot a respectable percentage, or protect the ball... not to mention boards
