Duke -11.5 (sm)
Haven’t seen much of Syracuse, but made my play after seeing them play the first 5 min vs SMU - that defense is a concern. Duke should win by 23+.

Did you know....that the Syracuse OrangePersons did not play a road game until January 6th, their 15th game of the season? They played an early season game in Philadelphia against Drexel, but that was part of the Autumn Invitational, which was played in the Sixers arena. Then just before Thanksgiving they played three tournament games here in Las Vegas. Tonight will be only their 7th true road game. I noticed something interesting after looking at the previous six.
January 6th at Georgia Tech - easily covered the 1st half, didn't cover the 2nd half
January 10th at Pittsburgh - easily covered the 1st half, barely covered the 2nd half which ended in a 35-35 tie
January 17th at Boston College - covered the 1st half, didn't cover the 2nd half/OT
January 27th at N.C. State - covered the 1st half, didn't cover the 2nd half
February 2nd at North Carolina - didn't cover the 1st half, somehow covered the 2nd half after getting outscored 26-8 to begin the 2nd half
February 7th at Virginia - covered the 1st half, didn't cover the 2nd half
So the Orange have lost their last 4 road games after winning the first two against crappy Georgia Tech and even crappier Pitt. They're an excellent 5-1 ATS in the 1st halves on the road, but they tend to fall apart in the 2nd halves. Duke will be a tremendous play tonight at halftime if Syracuse can manage to stay within twelve (which I don't think they will).
Can anyone who watched the Big Monday ESPN game two weeks ago between Syracuse and North Carolina explain how North Carolina allowed weak Syracuse to shave 22 points off a 72-40 lead for a deeply suspicious 87-77 final when UNC was laying -11.5?

Kinda similar situation as Duke game. Big game on deck no need to kill yourself all game get the win and who cares the score. Got up big game was over and didnt give a shit the rest of the way to a back door. Duke has failed to win by 20 or more vs the 2 sh!t teams they played. So, theres that. If Duke played this game 100% all the way through they should win by 30 but thats not what likely happens. But they could definitely cover. Small play to me on Syracuse

I think the line is telling us what likely happens. Monday night murder job.

@MrBator
LOL....my first bad beat in a long time was yesterday. I had GB +1.5. Milw was up 1, got a steal and GB fouled them with 1 second left in the game. 2 free throws later, and I lost by +3. Silly.
Got it back with Belmont +1.5....which was also a stupid game. I was down 15 at the half, then Belmont proceeded to blow them out 63 - 31 in the SECOND HALF and won by 17. ![]()

Ya Duke covers the 20, they’re on ATS loss streak and Syracuse is on a ATS win streak.
This is where both streaks come to an end. Gotta okay Duke or pass.

I have Duke -20.5 parlayed to Houston +140 and another parlay with Duke -20.5 parlayed to Houston +135, but the bet that matters is Duke -20 risking 17.6 units.
I also risked 6.6 units on Houston +3.

Yes, Duke is 0-3-1 ATS lately, though a bettor could have gone 4-0 betting against them by getting down on Clemson +13.5 two days ago.
