Editor's Note: This bout between Ciryl Gane and Ante Delija has been removed from the fight card on October 17 due to complications on Delija's recently signed contract. It has been replaced as the co-main event by Katlyn Chookagian vs Jessica Andrade.
Ciryl Gane vs. Ante Delija is the co-main event for UFC Fight Night betting on Saturday, October 17.
While the co-main event two weeks ago was a snoozer featuring a pair of out-of-shape heavyweights, this should be a more entertaining affair between a rising star in Gane and UFC newcomer Delija. UFC odds have Gane as a massive -590 favorite while Delija comes back at +410.

Gane vs Delija betting preview
Ciryl "Bon Gamin" Gane is currently No. 12 in the heavyweight rankings and is coming off a unanimous decision victory over Tanner Boser last December. While many fighters in the heavyweight division aren't in the greatest of shape, Gane is absolutely shredded and looks and moves like an NFL defensive end.
Not just a fantastic athlete, Gane is a very technical striker who excelled in kickboxing and Muay Thai before entering MMA. He's quick, very technically proficient, and can attack from a variety of angles with kicks, knees, elbows and fists. He has also quickly adapted to the grappling side of MMA, with three of his six victories coming via submission.
Ante "Walking Trouble" Delija is making his UFC debut after winning eight of his last nine fights across various promotions. While many of his opponents are relatively unknown to North American fans, his only loss during that span came against current UFC heavyweight Marcin Tybura, who won against Ben Rothwell last weekend.
Delija acquitted himself well in that fight before a low kick connected with Tybura's knee, resulting in a gruesome shattered leg. The 30-year-old Croatian is strong with plenty of power on his feet and in the ground and pound.

Gane vs Delija UFC predictions and betting picks
PREDICTION: Gane to win by points - It's hard to find much footage of Delija's previous fights, but in the few bouts available online it's easy to see that while he has power, he doesn't have anywhere near the polished striking of Gane. Gane is a rising star that could get a title shot within a few years but the -590 tag on him winning outright means you need to search elsewhere for betting value.
Despite his size, Gane is a volume striker that hasn't really shown one-punch knockout power in the past. His fight against Boser went the distance and his previous bout against Don'Tale Mayes was just 14 seconds away from the final bell before he won via submission.
Even in his two knockout victories against Roggers Souza and Adam Dyczka, Gane landed strikes at will, and they just kept eating them for longer than they should have been able to. Delija won't be the easy target that those fighters were and should be able to go the distance just like he has in two of his previous three bouts.
