The Winnipeg Blue Bombers have been an ATS darling early in the 2025 CFL season, winning all three games by double digits.

Now heading into a matchup with a Calgary Stampeders team still trying to find its rhythm, my Blue Bombers vs. Stampeders predictions have Winnipeg pulling away on the road.

Read more in my CFL picks for July 3, with kickoff set for 9:00 p.m. ET from McMahon Stadium in Calgary.

Blue Bombers vs Stampeders prediction

My Blue Bombers vs Stampeders pick: Blue Bombers -3.5 (-110 at BET99)

The Calgary Stampeders return from a bye week still searching for plenty of answers in the passing game.

In their latest Week 3 loss to Ottawa, quarterback Vernon Adams Jr. completed only 53% of his passing attempts for 218 yards and an interception.

Adams has yet to throw a touchdown pass in three starts, and with WR1 Reggie Begelton on the six-game injured list, they’ll be in trouble against the 3-0 Winnipeg Blue Bombers.

Winnipeg's defense is currently forcing teams into two-and-outs on 39% of their drives, holding opponents to an average of 19.0 points per game.

Meanwhile, Bombers QB Zach Collaros is showing no signs of slowing down at age 36, airing it out for 334 yards and three touchdowns in last week’s 36-23 win over Edmonton.

Reigning MOP Brady Oliveira could also return after missing the last two games with a shoulder injury, forming a dangerous backfield duo with rookie running back Matthew Peterson.

Only four of 16 CFL games have been decided by eight points or fewer heading into Week 5, so I’m more than comfortable laying -3.5 with the Bombers.

Winnipeg has hit the Over in all three of its wins this season, as well as four of its last five regular-season games in 2024.

The Bombers haven't missed a beat to start the year, averaging 30.3 offensive ppg and leading the league with 7.54 yards per play on first down.
