The story on everyone’s lips right now is the suspension of Folarin Balogun’s red card ban, which, as of Monday morning, is now being appealed by the Belgian federation.
Should it stand, it sets up a great battle between two strong attacks. Balogun’s counterpart, Romelu Lukaku, could be playing in his final World Cup and joins the American as the top goal-scoring options in the betting odds.

Folarin Balogun, USA
Falorin Balogun’s ban suspension is still in place as of the time of writing, and he will certainly start if available to do so.
He leads the USMNT in penalty area touches (23), goals (3), and xG (1.25), while taking 11 of their 52 shots. His intelligent movement and clinical finishing make him a threat to score from the smallest opportunity, making him the understandable favorite to score in this match.
Romelo Lukaku, Belgium
Fitness has been an issue for Romelo Lukaku, but when he’s on the pitch, he’s a problem. He's taken just five shots in four matches, but he’s scored on both efforts that he’s put on frame.
His size and strength make him a load to defend in the penalty area, where he’s managed 18 touches in just 177 minutes played. If he’s able to start, this price is hard to turn down.

Christian Pulisic, USA
Christian Pulisic is still seeking his first goal in the tournament, as he’s been more of a creative force than a scorer. He’s taken just four shots in 165 minutes of action, but will likely be called upon more against a Belgian side whose midfield will give them some issues.
He attempted three shots in their friendly on March 28, and a similar volume would make him a solid value play.
Leandro Trossard, Belgium
Leandro Trossard has been the creator for this Belgian side, and his 15 shots created from open play in the first four rounds were four more than any other player.
He’s also attempted 13 shots, scoring on two of the three attempts he’s put on frame, while leading the team in xG (1.58). Only Kevin De Bruyne has attempted more shots, and Trossard’s ability to cut inside and let fly makes him a threat to score anytime from anywhere.

Sergino Dest, USA
Sergino Dest has only taken three shots in the tournament, but he’s operating in a more forward position than usual. He’s been operating against compact defenses, but this match will likely see him getting space to run at defenders and get into the box.
He will have a pace advantage over nearly every Belgian defender and will be one of the primary threats on the American counterattack.
Youri Tielemans, Belgium
Youri Tielemans is a name familiar to many Premier League fans, as is his ability to pop up on a late run into the box. He scored a brace in the comeback win over Senegal, including the equalizer in the final minute of regulation before burying a penalty deep in extra time.
Tielemans has taken nine shots in the tournament, and his set-piece duties make this price very tempting.
