World Cup best bets for June 11
Updated daily with current odds.
Mexico vs South Africa: Under 2.5 goals (-110)
Opening group-stage matches tend to be cautious, and this one sets up the same way. Mexico has leaned defensive lately, averaging just 1.08 expected goals across its last six matches and playing to the under in four of its last five, while South Africa will be focused on tightening up after defensive issues at AFCON. With both sides aware that an early loss would put real pressure on qualification hopes, a controlled, low-scoring game makes sense.

South Korea vs Czechia: Both teams to score (-106)
Unlike the other Group A fixture, this one leans the opposite way, with two attack-minded sides and backlines that haven’t exactly inspired confidence. Czechia have been open in recent matches, conceding multiple goals in both playoff games, while South Korea’s backline was exposed for five goals in their latest warm-ups. With both teams capable of creating chances and neither consistently shutting opponents down, this sets up well for goals at both ends.

World Cup futures best bets
All futures listed below are Chris Vasile’s tournament-long picks.
Spain to win outright
You can call me a square for taking the World Cup favorites to win the tournament six months before a ball is even kicked, but the draw has set up perfectly for them.
Topping a very winnable group gives them a path to the Finals that has little resistance until the semifinals (depending on how things play out around them), but this is still a team with depth, incredible talent, and a penchant for winning the big game.
USA to win Group D
The United States no longer have a clear runway to top Group D, not with Turkey now rounding out the group.
What once looked like a manageable path alongside Paraguay and Australia has turned far more volatile. Turkey bring a level of technical quality and attacking depth that neither of those sides can match, and they’ve consistently proven capable of troubling top-tier opposition.
Paraguay still lack firepower — just 14 goals in 18 qualifying matches — and Australia remain limited despite a strong run through Asia. But Turkey’s arrival changes the equation entirely, turning this into a two-team race rather than a formality.
Netherlands to win Group F
While Japan may give them a good fight, the Netherlands are far and away the best team in this group. They can score goals with the best of teams, and defensively, they've been proven to be a tough team to break down.
I expect this line to shorten up well before the tournament gets underway, so jump on it now.
