My Wings vs Sun best bet: Wings -4.5 (-110 at BetMGM)
The Dallas Wings have come close, but have yet to secure their first win of the season. That changes tonight, and it will be exactly what they need to get in the winning groove.
The Wings have shown that they can indeed be competitive with three of their last four matchups being decided by a single-digit margin. So they are very much capable of keeping themselves in the game, it's just a matter of closing out victoriously that they're struggling with.
On the other hand, the Connecticut Sun have had it both ways. Some losses have been lopsided, and some have been within striking distance.
With a completely new starting lineup, the Sun haven't quite figured out how to overcome the challenges of what they have lost, and another disadvantage they'll have to face is Dijonai Carrington, who spent her first four seasons with Connecticut. Any juice that the Sun have left, Carrington is sure to have the answer to in order for Dallas to have the upper hand.
Besides Carrington, the Wings are led by Arike Ogunbowale, Paige Bueckers, and Maddy Siegrist, which will be a lot for a veteran like Tina Charles to manage and outscore.
With the winless Chicago Sky coming up twice on Dallas' schedule and the Seattle Storm — who they came close to defeating last week also in their upcoming matchups — the Wings are in prime position to get a good win streak going and knocking off the Sun is solid start to that mission.

My best bet
Paige Bueckers Over 14.5 points (-110 at BetMGM)
Taking a look at Bueckers' first four games as a pro, scoring hasn't been an issue after hitting double-digits in each matchup.
Her efficiency is a work in progress, but that comes with the territory as a rookie. In last week's contest against the Seattle Storm, Bueckers saw her best performance thus far with 19 points on 50% shooting.
She has yet to crack 20 points so far this season, and it's only fitting that she'll be able to finally get that in the Wings' first win of the season. In her first trip back to Connecticut since being drafted, count on Bueckers to gain more confidence while in familiar territory to lead all of Dallas' scorers.
