Our WNBA betting picks believe Angel Reese and the Sky will hang tough with a Storm squad that's consistently falling short of expectations of late.

The Chicago Sky face the Seattle Storm as double-digit road underdogs, but recent form suggests this spread is too generous.

With Angel Reese anchoring the lineup, my Sky vs. Storm predictions expect Chicago to make a game of it tonight.

Read on as I share my WNBA picks for Saturday, August 30.

Sky vs Storm predictions

My Sky vs Storm best bet: Sky +12 (-110 at FanDuel)

The Chicago Sky enter tonight’s matchup with the Seattle Storm as double-digit underdogs, but this spread looks too steep.

With Angel Reese’s return to the lineup, Chicago has battled hard and covered in four straight against elite competition, including the Phoenix Mercury, Las Vegas Aces, New York Liberty, and even Seattle.

The Sky’s defense and rebounding keep them within striking distance, and their ability to hang with top-tier opponents makes the double-digit spread a valuable number.

Meanwhile, Seattle is returning home from a five-game road swing, during which they went just 2-3 ATS.

Even more telling, the Storm are 0-5 ATS in their last five games at Climate Pledge Arena, standing 1-4  in those contests.

Expect Chicago to grind and keep this one close.

Sky vs Storm same-game parlay (SGP)

Sky +12

Over 162.5

Ariel Atkins Over 1.5 made threes

I like the Sky to cover, and I’ll add the Over as Seattle is 7-3 to the Over in its last 10 games.

Ariel Atkins has landed two or more made threes in three of her previous five and meets a Storm squad allowing 38% shooting from long-range in their last five games.
