The WNBA's best offense takes on the league's best defense tonight, and the matchup is the focus of our favorite WNBA player props.

The WNBA's top offense takes the floor tonight against the league's best defense, with the Golden State Valkyries and Indiana Fever going toe-to-toe in the top game of Wednesday's slate.

With Caitlin Clark still hampered by a back injury, my WNBA player props are fading her against Golden State, but backing one of her teammates at plus-money.

My WNBA picks for Wednesday, July 15, also focus on the WNBA Rookie of the Year favorite.

Olivia Miles Over 26.5 points + assists (-112)

Every time Olivia Miles touches the court, Minnesota Lynx fans are reminded how lucky they are that the TCU product fell to them with the No. 2 pick in the draft.

Miles is the runaway favorite by the WNBA Rookie of the Year odds, and she's been even better as of late, averaging 27.2 points and assists over her last 14 games. And the Los Angeles Sparks aren't the team built to stop her.

The Sparks have the second-worst defensive rating in the W, allow the second-highest effective field-goal percentage (55%), and give up the second-most APG (22.2).

The last time Miles played Los Angeles, she popped off for 35 combined points and assists, which is why I'd take Over on 26.5 at a price as short as -130.

Caitlin Clark Under 26.5 points + rebounds + assists (-106)

The WNBA's most polarizing player hasn't looked like herself since returning from a back injury. Caitlin Clark has played in two of the Indiana Fever's last three games, but has been sporadic, especially from 3-point range.

In her two games back, Clark's played just 40 minutes and had 21 total points while shooting 2-for-11 from three. Things won't get any easier against the Golden State Valkyries either.

Golden State leads the W in defensive rating (100.4) and allows the second-lowest true shooting percentage in the league (52.9%). Plus, the Valkyries play with the slowest pace in the WNBA on offense (75.2), which should lessen Clark's opportunities.

With Clark's difficult matchup against Golden State, I'd play the Under at any price better than -120.

Aliyah Boston Over 9.5 rebounds (+110)

The most important player for the Fever tonight may be Aliyah Boston. Her rebounding will be key for an Indiana team that could struggle to make shots against a top-rated Golden State defense.

Boston is in the top five in the league in rebound rate (19.7%) and has done her best glass cleaning over the last month. In her last 12 games, Boston is averaging 9.7 rebounds per game, with six double-digit rebound performances.

Golden State is a below-average rebounding team, too. The Valkyries are 10th in the league in rebounds per game (33.0) and allow opponents to pull down 32.9 per game.

I love the Over here at plus-money, especially because I'd be willing to take it at -110.
