Tuesday’s two-game WNBA slate offers plenty of intrigue, with both series entering a pivotal Game 2.
My favorite WNBA picks surrounding player props for September 23 expect both Alyssa Thomas and Courtney Williams to have big games across the board in Minnesota.
WNBA player prop bets for September 23
Thomas o32.5 PRA (-115)
Williams o10.5 assists+rebounds (-118)
Boston o8.5 rebounds (-132)
Alyssa Thomas Over 32.5 points+rebounds+assists
Alyssa Thomas’ well-rounded production has been the catalyst for the Phoenix Mercury's success this season, and I expect her to come through with another strong performance tonight. The veteran averaged 33.4 PRA during the regular season, including one of two matchups with the Minnesota Lynx.
In the first-round series against the Liberty, Thomas came through with totals of 31, 28, and 42 before dropping 33 in Game 1 against Minny.
She’s compiled at least 33 PRA in 22 of 43 games (playoffs and regular season), and she should be at her best tonight as the Mercury look to even up the series in Minnesota.

Courtney Williams Over 10.5 assists+rebounds
Courtney Williams led the charge in Minnesota’s come-from-behind victory on Sunday, delivering 23 points, eight rebounds, and seven assists.
She’s been great as a scorer but far more consistent as a rebounder and facilitator, so I’m leaning into the combo line on her assists and rebounds.
Williams hit the Over on this line in 22 of 44 regular-season matchups, and she’s done so in two of three playoff games. Williams averaged 11.1 assists+rebounds during the 2025 campaign. This line is set pretty low, making it an easy Over.

Aliyah Boston Over 8.5 rebounds
Aliyah Boston’s “annoying” defense in Game 1 limited A’ja Wilson to just 16 points on 6 of 22 shooting, and the former will be tasked with guarding the reigning MVP in Game 2.
Boston finished with six points and 11 boards in Sunday’s win, emphasizing defense over offense. A similar formula should follow in Game 2.
Boston averaged 8.2 boards in the regular season, though she’s been better in the playoffs, corralling 10 boards per game across four matchups.
Boston found success against the Aces as a rebounder, hauling in 10, seven, 10, and 11 rebounds, including Game 1. Expect her to stay active on the glass while trying to contain Wilson once again.
