That includes Angel Reese as she settles in with the Atlanta Dream, as well as Breanna Stewart, who is doing more than ever for the New York Liberty.

Angel Reese Over 12.5 rebounds (+108)

While the jury might still be out on Angel Reese’s efficiency as a scorer – many bettors failed to notice that she improved greatly in that regard in 2025 – there’s no doubt about her dominance on the boards. Reese led the WNBA with 12.6 rebounds per game last season, a full 2.4 per game higher than second place (A’ja Wilson at 10.2 per game).

Reese has moved to the Atlanta Dream for the 2026 season, but there’s no indication that anything’s changing about her game with her new team. In Atlanta’s season opener, Reese grabbed a game-high 14 rebounds and recorded a double-double in a Dream win.

The Dallas Wings look like they’re going to continue the run-and-gun style that led them to have the second-highest pace in the WNBA in 2025, and Atlanta likes to push the pace as well. That’s going to mean a lot of shots, and a lot of available rebounds, which should make it easy for Reese to hit her Over tonight.

Alyssa Thomas Over 16.5 points (-120)

Alyssa Thomas proved she could be a dependable scorer for the Phoenix Mercury in her first season with the team in 2025, scoring 15.4 ppg on 53.2% shooting, the best percentage of her career. Early returns in 2026 suggest Thomas might be even more productive this season, as she’s averaging 19.5 ppg through the Mercury’s first two games.

What particularly impressed me was Thomas’ ability to put up points on Sunday without taking a high volume of shots. While she went just 5-for-9 from the floor, Thomas got herself to the line, hitting nine of 12 free throws to score 19 points and come up one rebound short of a triple double.

That output came in a relatively off night for the Phoenix offense, as it scored just 79 points in a road loss. Thomas should have even more scoring opportunities tonight against a Minnesota Lynx team that allowed 91 points in its first game. I love Thomas to continue her scoring barrage and hit the Over at home tonight.

Breanna Stewart Over 22.5 points (+100)

There’s not a lot of money to be made in doubting Breanna Stewart, even at age 31. With Sabrina Ionescu out for the start of the season with an ankle injury, Stewart has taken on even more of the offensive load for the New York Liberty, scoring 27.0 ppg over the team’s first two games.

Stewart has averaged 20.5 ppg for her WNBA career, and even if that number has come down a bit in recent years as she’s been willing to share the load a bit more, she’s getting a ton of volume right now. The Liberty are pumping the ball into the forward to start the year, as she’s averaging 20 shots per contest in the early going.

It’s hard to imagine the expansion Portland Fire doing much to slow her down. The Fire allowed 98 points in their WNBA debut on Saturday, and Stewart is a bigger problem on the offensive end than anyone the Chicago Sky threw at Portland. I’m expecting a vintage performance from Stewart tonight, including more than enough points to hit her scoring Over.

His betting strategy focuses more on finding line value based on deviations from the market rather than traditional handicapping, primarily shopping between DraftKings, FanDuel, and Fanatics in his home state of Connecticut, though he’s not afraid to do deep game analysis to find profitable bets at any book.

Outside of gambling, Ed is an avid curler who competes in mixed doubles on the World Curling Tour and runs a popular curling YouTube channel, Chess on Ice. That experience has come in handy during the Olympics, when he has proven to be a successful curling bettor as well.

Ed's advice to new bettors is to always open multiple sportsbook accounts and check the odds at each before placing any bet. Successful sports betting is about consistently beating the closing line value, which requires finding spots where one book is offering odds far better than the rest of the market and jumping on those opportunities.
