The New York Liberty’s four-game losing streak is the biggest storyline heading into the five-game Sunday slate, but every contest today will have a bearing on the crowded WNBA playoff picture.

My favorite WNBA player props for the August 3 action include wagers on an Atlanta Dream sharpshooter and the Golden State Valkyries’ do-it-all guard. Read on for my Top 3 WNBA picks for Sunday.

WNBA player prop bets for August 3

  • Dream Gray o2.5 3s (+124)
  • Valkyries Burton o20.5 pts + rebs + asts (-130)
  • Mercury Copper o15.5 pts (-114)

Today's best WNBA player props bets

Allisha Gray Over 2.5 3-pointers (+124 at FanDuel)

No one is expecting another out-of-body shooting effort from Allisha Gray, after drilling seven 3-pointers against the Phoenix Mercury on Friday, but it’s not as if she’s a reluctant markswoman.

Gray is making her triples at a 41% clip this season, while firing up a career-high 6.3 attempts per game from downtown, and I love these plus odds for Over 2.5 3-pointers this afternoon against the Washington Mystics.

She’s made 3+ 3-pointers in five of her last seven contests, and this is an opponent that she’s lit it up in the past.

Gray knocked down six triples in the season opener against Washington, and she has thrived as an off-ball option next to Jordin Canada. She’s also coming off a strong July where she scored 24+ points three times.

Veronica Burton Over 20.5 points + rebounds + assists (-130 at FanDuel)

The Valkyries’ feel-good story continues, with Golden State in the thick of the playoff race in its first WNBA season, and the Veronica Burton props stand out again today.

Burton has emerged as an impact player all over the box score, and this 20.5 O/U feels too low after her strong outings this week.

She served up 18 points to go with four rebounds and seven assists on Friday against the Chicago Sky, on the heels of a 10-7-10 stat line the night before in a victory over the Washington Mystics.

Her playmaking is the steadiest category here (5.3 APG), but don’t sleep on her recent shooting. Burton has finished with 10+ points in four straight games, and you can pencil her in for 30+ minutes as the engine of this Valkyries offense. She’s even found a better rhythm from downtown - 35% overall - after a slow start to 2025.

Kahleah Copper Over 15.5 points (-114 at FanDuel)

The Phoenix Mercury are on a rough 1-5 skid, using up the breathing room they’d created in the standings, but Kahleah Copper is doing her best to keep the offense afloat.

Copper was the only Phoenix scorer who showed up against the Atlanta Dream in Friday’s blowout loss, ending up with 19 points on 6-for-12 shooting, and she dropped 22 points on the Indiana Fever in midweek.

With Alyssa Thomas pulling the strings, Copper can simply focus on getting buckets, and her extra aggression has been noticeable lately, with 16 free-throw attempts across her last two contests.

She’s facing a depleted Chicago Sky roster today which is another reason to like this Over. The Sky have allowed 90+ points in four of their past five outings and will be without Angel Reese again here as a defensive presence.
