With just over three weeks to go in the WNBA regular season, teams are running out of time to make their move in the standings – and that makes tonight’s five-game slate even more meaningful.

The Atlanta Dream can take a firmer grip on the No. 2 seed against a Seattle Storm squad that’s in freefall, while the Las Vegas Aces go for their sixth straight victory as they visit the Phoenix Mercury.

My WNBA picks and props target those two matchups, and there’s a lot to unpack ahead of the August 15 hoops action.

WNBA player prop bets for August 15

  • Mystics Iriafen Under 23.5 points + rebounds (-104)
  • Dream Gray Over 16.5 points (-128)
  • Aces Wilson Over 11.5 rebounds (+110)

Today's best WNBA player props bets

Kiki Iriafen Under 23.5 points + rebounds (-104 at FanDuel)

Kiki Iriafen has taken huge strides in her rookie year, and the Washington Mystics can feel great about having a building block for the future. But this 23.5 combo prop line feels high, despite her strong recent play.

Iriafen has fallen short of this number in six of her 10 outings since the All-Star break – and she only got there five times all season prior to that.

She’s still just scratching the surface of what she can do as a scorer, and she’s ended up with fewer than 15 points in three of her last four games. If her shot isn’t falling, I just don’t see her grabbing enough boards to hit this mark.

So I’m fading this prop tonight against the Indiana Fever, who should be locked in defensively after a disappointing loss to the Dallas Wings on Tuesday.

Indiana’s Aliyah Boston will provide a stern test for Iriafen in the paint, and it’s worth noting that the Mystics phenom has logged fewer than 25 minutes in four of her past eight contests.

Allisha Gray Over 16.5 points (-128 at FanDuel)

Riding a six-game win streak, the Atlanta Dream are flying – and Allisha Gray continues to add to her career-best season. She’s averaging 19 PPG overall in 2025, but she’s found another gear this month, with 22.4 PPG across her past five contests.

With Jordin Canada sidelined by a hamstring injury, Gray has the green light to attack, and the ball should be in her hands more than usual, even with Rhyne Howard sharing the scoring burden. I love the Over on Gray’s points prop tonight, especially facing a Seattle Storm defense that’s gone off of a cliff lately.

The Seattle Storm have given up 90+ points in three of their last four outings, and they’ve had no answer for Gray this year. She scored 22 points on 8-for-14 shooting against Seattle on Wednesday and dropped 28 points in the teams’ early-season meeting.

Gray has ended up with a field goal percentage of 50% or better in each of her past five games, and that’s a repeatable trend here.

A’ja Wilson Over 11.5 rebounds (+110 at DraftKings)

A’ja Wilson has been making a splash lately, recording the WNBA’s first-ever 30-20 game in midweek against the Connecticut Sun and following that up with 17 points and 16 boards to take down the New York Liberty.

That sums up Wilson’s dominance, and I’m expecting another monster effort on the glass tonight against the Phoenix Mercury. A’ja has tallied 12+ rebounds in four of her last five outings, and it’s no coincidence that the Las Vegas Aces have piled up wins in that span, raising optimism about a postseason run.

Becky Hammon has given Wilson more freedom to crash the offensive boards recently, and that’s another reason to like this plus-odds Over, even against the Phoenix Mercury’s veteran frontcourt.

The Wilson-Alyssa Thomas matchup could be decisive, and A’ja had the edge in their last head-to-head battle, with 26 points and 18 rebounds against Phoenix back in late June. Wilson is peaking at the perfect moment, and I’m ready to cash in.
