It’s a busy Friday in the WNBA, with five games on tap across the league. That means we can take our pick from many of the top teams in the league for our WNBA player props tonight.
I’m looking at Aliyah Boston to pick up some of the slack for the Indiana Fever after the injury to Caitlin Clark. I’ll also be looking at what stars Sabrina Ionescu and A’ja Wilson might put up in their box scores tonight.
Here are my free WNBA picks for May 30.

Aliyah Boston Over 15.5 points (+105 at Caesars)
The Indiana Fever are in for a rough stretch without Caitlin Cark to run the offense, as the superstar guard is out with a quad strain. But someone has to pick up the slack, and Aliyah Boston is the player I expect to lead that charge.
Boston is averaging 16.8 ppg so far this season, and will likely work alongside Kelsey Mitchell to make sure the Fever have a functional offense for the next few weeks.
In Indiana’s first five games, Boston scored at least 19 points on three occasions. While she didn’t have a big game in her first outing without Clark, she has an excellent matchup tonight against the winless Connecticut Sun.
The Sun are allowing 88.2 ppg so far this season, and even without Clark, Indiana should put up big numbers tonight. Considering that Boston’s scoring total has been set relatively low despite this matchup, I’m excited to take the Over for her in this favorable matchup.
Sabrina Ionescu Over 2.5 threes made (+100 at BetRivers)
Sabrina Ionescu has been one of the better 3-point shooters in the WNBA over her career, shooting 36.2% from downtown. But while she’s still putting up the same volume of shots from deep in 2025, she hasn’t been hitting from beyond the arc, shooting just 30.8% in her first five games.
Because of those struggles, Ionescu hit two or fewer threes in each of her first four games. However, she broke out a bit last night against the Golden State Valkyries, going 6-for-15 from 3-point range in what was her best offensive performance of the season.
While the Washington Mystics' early numbers suggest they’re good at chasing shooters off the 3-point line, they haven’t faced a team with the multitude of scoring threats that the New York Liberty bring to the table — if only because there aren’t any other teams like that in the WNBA. I expect Washington to struggle at least a little in defending a New York team that is averaging 91.6 ppg.
New York is on the second night of a back-to-back, which may also mean less physical play in the paint for the Liberty, and more looking for open shots on the outside. That’s a great dynamic for this Ionescu prop.
A’ja Wilson Under 36.5 points + rebounds (-110 at BetMGM)
A’ja Wilson remains an absolute superstar for the Las Vegas Aces, a perennial MVP candidate who is one of the best post players in the league.
So far in 2025, Wilson is averaging 20.8 points and 10.8 rebounds per game, ranking in the Top 5 in the league in both categories.
Outside of a monster performance in her opener against the Liberty, Wilson hasn’t been taking over games to the level we’ve seen in the last few years.
Of course, some of that might be the reduced amount of help she has on the Aces without Kelsey Plum on the team. Right now, Wilson leads the team in scoring, rebounding, assists, steals, and blocks.
Wilson is having to do a bit of everything, which is a burden on any player, even one of her talents.
That has made it hard to expect huge numbers in any one category for Wilson this year. And while the Los Angeles Sparks aren’t the toughest interior matchup in the league, I can’t justify the totals sportsbooks are putting on her, which seem to expect her to get the same scoring and rebounding numbers we saw last year.
