The Commissioner’s Cup final takes center stage as the WNBA's standalone contest for Tuesday evening as the Indiana Fever visit the Minnesota Lynx. Amazon Prime will have coverage from Target Center beginning at 8:00 p.m. ET.
My Fever vs. Lynx predictions note that Caitlin Clark is out tonight, paving the way for MVP favorite Napheesa Collier to have a huge game for the Lynx.

No. Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark will miss her third consecutive game with a groin injury.
Fever vs Lynx predictions
My Fever vs Lynx best bet: Napheesa Collier Over 36.5 points + rebounds + assists (-105 at bet365)
Napheesa Collier leads the WNBA in points per game, she’s one of the top rebounders, and she’s a great facilitator at her position. The WNBA MVP odds favorite is averaging 24.4 points, 8.5 rebounds, and 3.7 assists, good for 36.6 PRA.
She’s hit the Over on this combo line in eight of 13 games this season. That includes a game against the Aces in which she logged only 19 minutes and hit the Under, and her most recent outing against the Sun in which she finished with 34 PRA in just 27 minutes.
No one took last year’s Finals loss harder than Collier, and she’s been on a tremendous tear this season as she looks to lead her team back to that series and finally get over the hump.
The Commissioner’s Cup Championship is the first opportunity for Collier to win such a meaningful game since losing in Game 5 of the Finals, and I expect her to be fired up in front of the home crowd.
The Indiana Fever started the season out strongly on defense, but they’re below average through 16 games, and they’ve struggled over their last five games. In that span, the Fever ranked ninth in defensive rating at 109.9.
On the season, Indiana has allowed opponents to score 80.1 points per game, but over the last five, they’ve surrendered 86.8 per tilt. Indiana has allowed the fifth-most offensive rebounds per game, sixth-most second-chance points, and third-most points in the paint.
In a meaningful game in front of the Minnesota Lynx faithful, expect the MVP-favorite to do what she does best — a bit of everything. Collier should have no problem racking up 37+ PRA tonight.
Fever vs Lynx same-game parlay (SGP)
Minnesota has outscored opponents by an average of 14 points per game this season, easily the most by any team. Over the last five games, the Lynx are +17.1, also tops in the W.
Strong play on both ends of the court has resulted in big wins, and Minnesota is poised for another comfortable victory tonight. The line opened at Lynx -4.5, but oddsmakers anticipated a Caitlin Clark absence, as the line shifted by four more points in favor of the home team.
I was in on the Lynx at 4.5 with Clark available, but I’ll surely take them at 8.5 with Clark out.
Both teams have gone 7-9 to the Under this season, and I expect a lower-scoring game tonight. Minnesota’s defense has been stifling throughout the season, and the Fever’s offense may struggle without Clark on the court to orchestrate and score.
This one opened at 164.5, but Clark’s looming absence has dropped the total to 162.5. I’m happy to take the Under here, as Minnesota puts the clamps on Indiana and comes home with the Commissioner’s Cup.
