The Indiana Fever lost 95-90 at home to the Minnesota Lynx on Friday, and the two teams will clash again tonight in Minneapolis.

Napheesa Collier is expected to make her return from a seven-game absence, while Caitlin Clark will miss another contest.

My Fever vs. Lynx predictions expect a modest offensive output from Collier as the Lynx take control of this matchup at home.

Fever vs Lynx predictions

My Fever vs Lynx best bet: Napheesa Collier Under 18.5 points (-130 at Caesars)

The Minnesota Lynx currently sit atop the WNBA standings at 29-8, and they have a 5.5-game lead over the second-place Atlanta Dream. With just eight games remaining, the Lynx have a comfortable lead in the race for first place, and there’s no reason for Minnesota to rush Napheesa Collier with a big workload.

Minnesota won five of seven games with Collier on the sideline, including a 95-90 win over the Indiana Fever on Friday. Indiana is just 18-19 ATS this season, and the Fever are 1-6 ATS across their last seven.

With Caitlin Clark still sidelined and a number of key players out for the season, Indiana is running on fumes to close out the season. The Lynx came away victorious on Friday in Indiana despite Collier’s absence and only 13 minutes from Courtney Williams.

Minnesota is a comfortable favorite in this one, and I expect the healthier team to win handily in front of the home crowd. Collier’s minutes should be limited here, and with the Lynx expected to win big, I’m not counting on a high-scoring total.

Fever vs Lynx same-game parlay (SGP)

Napheesa Collier Under 18.5 points

Courtney Williams Over 5.5 assists

Lynx -12

I’ll take a comfortable win for the Lynx to go with Collier’s points line. The Lynx have the more talented and healthier squad, and they get the benefit of home-court advantage. The return of Collier should energize the team, and I expect her to do her damage early as the Lynx build a double-digit lead and never look back.

Courtney Williams received backlash from her coach for her miscues in the closing seconds of Minnesota’s 75-73 loss to the Dream last week, and Williams only logged 13 minutes in Friday’s win over Indiana. Coach Cheryl Reeve said Williams’ limited playing time was related to an “ailment” rather than her play against Atlanta, but she hasn’t been listed on the injury report. Expect her to take recent criticism and lack of playing time to heart and get teammates involved. She’s dished six or more dimes in 20 of 36 games this season.
