Saturday’s WNBA slate tips off with the Association’s favorite rivalry as Angel Reese and the Atlanta Dream host Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever at State Farm Arena for a primetime matinee.

With so many points surrendered in the last head-to-head matchup, my Fever vs. Dream predictions expect a low-scoring affair as each team locks in on defense.

Read on in my WNBA picks to see why I’m taking the Under on a point total that’s set a bit too high and why I’m taking Reese and the home team to come away with a convincing win over Clark and the visitors.

Fever vs Dream prediction

Fever vs Dream best bet: Under 176.5 (-110)

The Indiana Fever and Atlanta Dream combined for just 154 points in their first matchup of the season before going for a whopping 209 in their last meeting. Both teams noted that defense would be a focus on Saturday.

The Fever offense boasts a 113.3 Offensive Rating at home compared to just 102.3 on the road. Atlanta has surrendered 81.7 points per game at home, and buckets will be tough to come by for the visitors.

I’ll bet this one down to 170.5 as two Top 6 defenses clean things up from their last, high-scoring tilt.

Covers COVERS INTEL: Indiana’s -15.6 point per game scoring dip on the road vs at home is the largest home-road scoring differential in the WNBA by a considerable margin.

Fever vs Dream same-game parlay

The Dream sports the third-best home point differential at 8.7 per game, and they’ve covered the spread in four of six home games. The Fever are just 1-3 ATS in their last four away from Indy. I’ll bet this one up another point as Atlanta exploits Indiana’s road struggles.

Angel Reese’s rebound line is tempting for even money at 11.5, but Indiana sports the league’s best defensive rebound percentage, which could drive her total down. Instead, she simply needs to reach 10 points and 10 boards, something she’s done in 10 of 14 games this season.

Fever vs Dream SGP

  • Under 176.5
  • Dream -5.5
  • Angel Reese to record a double-double

Caitlin Clark prop pick

Under 19.5 points (-105)

Caitlin Clark’s home-road splits heavily favor the Under on her scoring line this afternoon. She’s averaged 23.9 points at home compared to just 16.7 on the road. Clark is a more efficient shooter away from Indy, but her FGA plummeted from 17.3 to 13.8, and her FTA crashed from 8.5 to 3.5.

Clark has hit the Under in four of six road games, and with the Dream and Fever both focused on tightening up their defenses, I expect Clark’s road struggles to continue. Play this line down to 18.5.
