Tonight’s final WNBA matchup will be between the Atlanta Dream and Los Angeles Sparks at Crypto.com Arena.

Atlanta has rattled off three straight wins and hopes to secure a fourth against a Los Angeles side that finished with the league’s worst record last season.

However, with Brittney Griner out for Atlanta, my Dream vs. Sparks predictions and WNBA picks are focused on the opportunity provided to Azura Stevens on Tuesday, May 27.

Dream vs Sparks predictions

My Dream vs Sparks best bet: Azura Stevens 15+ points (-110 at bet365)

The season is young, but Azura Stevens is well on her way to putting together her best scoring year yet.

She’s thrived as the Los Angeles Sparks’ third option so far, and one key injury could give her an important advantage against the Atlanta Dream tonight.

Brittney Griner is set to miss her second straight game with a knee injury, so Atlanta won’t have its usual length inside. Stevens has used her 6-foot-6 frame to eclipse 20 points three times in five games this season. Two of those performances came against Top 5 scoring defenses.

Brionna Jones is no slouch, but Griner’s absence will open up opportunities for the Sparks’ frontcourt.

Dream vs Sparks same-game parlay (SGP)

Azura Stevens 15+ points

Azura Stevens Over 8.5 rebounds

Over 161.5

Stevens can do more than build upon her impressive scoring season with Griner out for a second consecutive contest. She’ll also have an opportunity to dominate the glass.

The Sparks are this year’s worst rebounding team so far, but Stevens has snared eight or more rebounds in three straight contests. She’ll consistently be the tallest player on the floor and is getting more opportunities than ever while averaging a career-high 32.0 minutes per game.

I’m banking on Stevens keeping up her strong run after averaging 9.2 rebounds through her first five games of 2025.

Offense is the last thing this pairing will lack. The Dream and Sparks both boast Top 5 scoring offenses. Atlanta averages 83.8 points while Los Angeles averages 81.8. Both teams put emphasis on shooting the long ball.

The Dream and Sparks rank second and third, respectively, in threes made per game. Only the New York Liberty can top them, so this could easily turn into a barn burner. No Griner could mean fewer stops and a faster pace with Nia Coffey stepping into the starting lineup.
