Get the popcorn ready as two of the hottest teams in the W face off in Sin City tonight. Winners of seven of their last eight games, the Atlanta Dream will look to snap the Las Vegas Aces’ seven-game win streak with both teams jockeying for playoff positioning.
My Dream vs. Aces predictions expect Rhyne Howard to flash her playmaking ability in what should be a tremendous matchup at Michelob ULTRA Arena.

Dream vs Aces predictions
My Dream vs Aces best bet: Rhyne Howard Over 4.5 assists (-102 at FanDuel)
For as good as Rhyne Howard has been at getting her own buckets, she’s been just as effective getting teammates involved. With Jordin Canada (hamstring) out tonight, I expect Howard to continue facilitating at a high level.
Howard is averaging a career-best 4.5 assists per game this season, and she leads the Atlanta Dream in usage rate at 22.7. Over her last three games with Canada on the sideline, she’s posted assist totals of six, one, and seven. Canada’s 5.7 assists per game lead Atlanta, and her absence frees up plenty of playmaking opportunities for Howard.
On the season, Howard has dished at least five dimes in 11 of 22 starts, including seven of 11 games on the road. Tonight’s road matchup is a favorable one as the Las Vegas Aces have allowed the fifth-most assists per game overall (20.8).
Howard is poised to see increased responsibilities as a playmaker tonight, but this assist line and its juicy -102 odds don’t reflect that. I’ll happily take the value here.
Dream vs Aces same-game parlay (SGP)
Rhyne Howard Over 4.5 assists
A'ja Wilson Over 38.5 points+rebounds+assists
Chelsea Gray Over 15.5 points+assists
A'ja Wilson has led the charge during Vegas' seven-game win streak. In that span, she’s averaged 26.1 points, 13.3 rebounds, and 2.7 assists, good for 42.1 PRA.
She’s hit the Over on this line four times and totaled 37 PRA in two more during the streak. She posted 41 PRA against the Dream in the first matchup this season, and I expect her hot streak to continue tonight.
Wilson has been at the forefront of Las Vegas’ recent success, but Chelsea Gray has been a strong contributor, too.
Over her last seven, Gray has averaged 11.1 points and 6.9 assists, good for 18 points+assists. She’s hit the Over on this line in five of the last seven, including three straight.
