The last time A'ja Wilson and the Aces lost it was against the Wings, who they visit tonight. Jason Logan doesn't see any easy buckets for Wilson as Dallas does a good job keeping her off the offensive glass.

The Las Vegas Aces have stacked six straight victories to climb to the top of the Western Conference.

A big part of that push is the play of multi-time MVP A’ja Wilson, who’s averaging 28.5 points during this streak.

In fact, the last time Wilson failed to score at least 24 points was the last time Las Vegas lost. And funny enough, that loss came against the Dallas Wings, who Wilson & Co. visit tonight.

My Aces vs. Wings predictions respect Las Vegas’ run, but my WNBA picks aren’t rushing to bet Wilson to go Over her scoring prop on Monday, June 15.

Aces vs Wings prediction

Aces vs Wings best bet: A’ja Wilson Under 25.5 points (-115)

A’ja Wilson scored 21 points on 10-for-24 shooting in that loss to the Dallas Wings. But the most impressive part of Dallas’ defense was limiting her to one offensive rebound.

Wilson’s recent tear has been boosted by an average of three offensive rebounds, which has helped produce 6.2 second-chance points. Before this stretch, Wilson was putting up only 2.9 SCP with two offensive rebounds per outing.

The Wings are one of the better rebounding teams, allowing the second-fewest opponent offensive boards and the third-lowest SCP.

Wilson won’t have easy putbacks to push her scoring past a high points total.

Covers COVERS INTEL: The Las Vegas Aces’ winning streak features four foes who are at the bottom of the league in opponent offensive rebounds and second-chance points: Minnesota (12th opp ORB/10th SCP), Portland (12th/14th), Seattle (14th/12th), and L.A. (10th/8th).

Aces vs Wings same-game parlay

The Aces can sometimes lack motivation in the regular season, but after head coach Becky Hammon was pissed following the loss to Dallas at the end of May, a little payback could push Las Vegas tonight.

The Aces offense is firing on all cylinders, getting great playmaking during this stretch. Las Vegas has a 75% assist-to-FGM rate while the Wings have allowed almost 23 assists over their last three contests.

A big part of Dallas’ success vs. Wilson was the play of center Jessica Shepard. She had a career game against Vegas last time out, with 22 points and 20 rebounds over 38 minutes with only three personal fouls. She had 14 rebounds in the loss to Portland last time out, and game projections call for close to 13 boards from Shepard tonight.
