We’ve hit Week 6 in the UFL, and Orlando, the last of the unbeatens, got beat.

The Storm sit at 4-1 atop the standings with the D.C. Defenders, while the Dallas Renegades stumbled out of the top spot with a second straight beatdown.

Read below for my UFL Week 6 predictions and free betting picks, where I tell you why the Storm will surge back vs. the Birmingham Stallions.

Week 5 results: 3-1

Houston Gamblers vs Columbus Aviators

Friday, 8:00 p.m. ET, FOX

Gamblers Aviators
+3.5 (-110) Spread -3.5 (-110)
+170 Moneyline -205
Over 45 (-110) Total Under 45 (-110)

The Houston Gamblers struck first in this battle of 1-3 teams that play each other in consecutive weeks, riding their defense to a 17-13 win.

The Gamblers kept the Columbus Aviators at zero points in the second half, while the two-headed monster of Marcus Yarns and Jalen White grinded out 120 yards in the rush attack.

Columbus couldn’t build on their win against then-unbeaten Dallas.

Their offense behind QB Jalan McClendon has been solid, as he ranks third in passing yards, completion percentage, and total offense, but that’s equaled just one win.

These are two of the four lowest scoring teams in the U, and I don’t see it improving in Week 6.

Pick: Under 45 (-110 at bet365)

Dallas Renegades vs DC Defenders

Saturday, 12:00 p.m. ET, ABC

Renegades Defenders
+3.5 (-110) Spread -3.5 (-110)
+170 Moneyline -205
Over 49 (-110) Total Under 49 (-110)

There’s never a good time to take on the DC Defenders, and I’m sure the Dallas Renegades are cursing the schedule-makers for this one.

The Renegades are reeling. Two weeks ago they scored a season-low 14 in a loss to then-winless Columbus. Last week, Dallas surrendered a season high in points in a 47-25 loss to one-win Louisville.

D.C. just crushed Birmingham, 45-28, and they’ve scored 40+ three times in their current four-game win streak. Jordan Ta’amu lit up the Stallions for 275 yards passing, and a season-best four TD passes.

That offense is aided by likely the best defense in the league. D.C. tops the league in sacks and takeaways, while the secondary features Gareon Conley and Sam Kidd, who each sit near the top of the interceptions leaderboard.

A third straight rough week for Dallas is incoming.

Pick: Defenders -3.5 (-110 at bet365)

Birmingham Stallions vs Orlando Storm

Sunday, 4:00 p.m. ET, FOX

Stallions Storm
+5 (-110) Spread -5 (-110)
+205 Moneyline -250
Over 44.5 (-110) Total Under 44.5 (-110)

Orlando just lost its first game of the year, 25-17, to the St. Louis Battlehawks. But unlike Dallas, which is reeling and taking on a monster, the Storm draw another favorable matchup, this time with the one-win Birmingham Stallions.

This is a team they already shut out in Week 4, 16-0.

There are some revenge vibes in play here, as Orlando traded QB Dorian Thompson-Robinson to Birmingham, and the pivot gets a crack at his old team. DTR threw for 313 yards with three total TDs last week, but he did throw two picks as well.

Orlando should try to establish its run game with Jashaun Corbin and allow Jack Plummer passing shots in play action, while keeping DTR watching from the sideline in a one-sided win.

Pick: Storm -5 (-110 at bet365)
