He has scored only three times this season but, more importantly, he has generated 6.0 expected goals.
Los Angeles sits 22nd in team save percentage and has the subpar goaltending that can help Dorofeyev get back on track.
Gabriel Perreault for 2+ shots is my top pick for this game, and I’d back him to 56%.
The New York Rangers made a fun little adjustment to the top line a little while ago, dropping Pavel Dorofeyev and putting Alexis Lafreniere at RW1 instead.
He averaged just 4.05 shots on goal per 60 with Dorofeyev and has seen that output soar to 10.06 per 60 with Lafreniere.

I recommend the Maple Leafs moneyline to 62% because the Flames have scored the third-fewest goals per game and five-on-five goals per 60 minutes, and it isn’t surprising given the lack of high-end talent jumping the boards. Add Toronto ranking fifth in power-play percentage and leading the NHL in penalty-kill percentage, and the Maple Leafs enter as the superior team in all facets.

Auston Matthews needs one point to reach 800 for his NHL career, but we're backing him to hit the milestone with a goal. Matthews has nine goals in 13 games, and Calgary offers an inviting matchup. The Flames have allowed 3.9 goals and 30.5 shots per game, both among the NHL's worst marks. Toronto has also won eight straight meetings with Calgary, giving Matthews a strong opportunity to cash at 42% on Novig.

Edmonton leads the NHL in goals per game (4.36) while allowing the sixth-most per game (3.55). They've played to the Over in four consecutive games, and sport a 7-4-0 Over/Under record on the season.
The Red Wings may possess the seventh-worst offense in terms of goals per game (2.55), but they rank sixth in shots per game (29.8), and their 30th-ranked shooting percentage (8.5) is due for some regression to the mean given their shot volume.

I’d back Zach Hyman for a point all the way to 60%.
The veteran winger has gotten a full dose of minutes since returning to the lineup, skating on the second line alongside as well as on the No. 1 power play.
That gives him exposure to Connor McDavid, Leon Draisaitl, and Evan Bouchard – arguably the best trio of offensive players in the league.
Detroit plays at a higher pace than Edmonton at 5-on-5, and they also sit 28th in goals against per 60 minutes while killing penalties.

As with all moneyline odds, the team with the minus sign (-) is the favorite, while the side with the plus sign (+) is the underdog.

The puck line is the NHL's version of the spread, where each team is given a certain number of goals to either win or lose by. Unlike the NFL or the NBA, the NHL spread doesn't typically change from 1.5 for each side. The spread is designed to make betting on the favorite more enticing.
