He has scored only three times this season but, more importantly, he has generated 6.0 expected goals.
Los Angeles sits 22nd in team save percentage and has the subpar goaltending that can help Dorofeyev get back on track.
Gabriel Perreault for 2+ shots is my top pick for this game, and I’d back him to 56%.
The New York Rangers made a fun little adjustment to the top line a little while ago, dropping Pavel Dorofeyev and putting Alexis Lafreniere at RW1 instead.
He averaged just 4.05 shots on goal per 60 with Dorofeyev and has seen that output soar to 10.06 per 60 with Lafreniere.

It’s been a breakout start for Cowan, and he’s been a consistent source of shots for Toronto, so I recommend this Over up to 56%. Cowan has recorded two or more shots in nine of his past 10 games and 10 of 13 for the year, and he’s clicked of late with No. 1 center Auston Matthews. Of course, the Flames have also allowed the fifth-most shots per game.

This goal prop is in play up to 46% because Matthews paces the Maple Leafs in individual expected goals and high-danger scoring chances while finding the back of the net in eight of 13 games to start the year. Calgary also has an unsustainably high .962 team save percentage with 8.54 goals saved above expected during its three-game winning streak.

With McDavid picking up helpers at a ludicrous pace, someone has to be finding the back of the net regularly. Look no further than Leon Draisaitl.
The four-time 50-goal man has 12 goals in 11 games and has scored in six straight. Additionally, his six power-play goals lead the league, and he has five in the last week alone. This prop is trading at 47% despite its 72.7% hit rate in 2026-27.
Connor McDavid o1.5 Assists (+175)
McDavid is putting up video game numbers and has more assists than any other player has points this season. That's Gretzky-esque.
#97 is averaging three points per game nearly a month into the season. He and the Oilers' league-best power play have a fantastic opportunity tonight against a Red Wings team that ranks 19th in penalty minutes per game (10.2) and sports the 30th-ranked penalty kill (65.8%). This prop is trading at just 36% despite its 72.7% hit rate in 2026-27.

As with all moneyline odds, the team with the minus sign (-) is the favorite, while the side with the plus sign (+) is the underdog.
Betting $100 on Edmonton at -130 would net you $176 in winnings if they win the game, $76 of profit plus your initial $100 wager. Conversely, if you bet on Florida and they win, you get $210: $110 in profit plus your initial $100 bet.
The puck line is the NHL's version of the spread, where each team is given a certain number of goals to either win or lose by. Unlike the NFL or the NBA, the NHL spread doesn't typically change from 1.5 for each side. The spread is designed to make betting on the favorite more enticing.

The favorite, Edmonton at -1.5, would need to win by at least two goals for the bet to cash. If Edmonton wins by two or more goals, in other words, "covers the bet," you'd get $191 in winnings instead of $176 by taking them on the moneyline.
There are two ways for the underdog, Florida at +1.5, to "cover" a +1.5 puck line bet. They can lose by a single goal or win outright to cash. The odds are shorter, but you have options on this bet.
With a total bet, you're wagering on the total number of goals scored by both teams. You aren't backing any single side to win.
