Last Meeting ( Oct 12, 2013 ) Texas A&M 41, Mississippi 38

Fourteenth-ranked Texas A&M doesn't have time to dwell on last week's disappointing loss when it returns home for another key SEC showdown against No. 4 Mississippi on Saturday. "The way this league is now you've just got to move on," coach Kevin Sumlin said during his Tuesday press conference. "As quickly as you talk about last weekend you don't have any time to look back because Ole Miss is a team playing very, very well right now." The undefeated Rebels boast one of the nation's top defenses, allowing just 10.2 points and 152.4 passing yards per game.

The Aggies' high-scoring offense - ranked in the top five nationally in scoring (47.8), total offense (583.2) and passing yards (395.2) - will have its hands full with a defense that has allowed just four touchdowns and has forced a turnover in 28 straight games, tied for the second-longest active streak in the FBS. Texas A&M quarterback Kenny Hill leads the SEC in passing yards and touchdowns but had three interceptions in last week's loss at Mississippi State and now faces a defense allowing 4.6 yards per pass attempt. "This is a talented team," Sumlin said of Ole Miss. "The defense is playing well as a unit and with a lot of confidence. They've been really stout."

ABOUT MISSISSIPPI (5-0, 2-0 SEC):
The Rebels lead the SEC with 10 interceptions, including Senquez Golson's league-best four picks. Reigning SEC Offensive Player of the Week Bo Wallace, who is second in the SEC in passing (304.4 yards per game) and touchdown passes (14), has hit Laquon Treadwell and Vince Sanders for four TDs each. The Rebels have never beaten Texas A&M in six tries, including back-to-back three-point home losses.

ABOUT TEXAS A&M (5-1, 2-1): Hill (155-of-242 for 2,110 yards and 21 touchdowns) will likely get his top target back this week as Malcome Kennedy (33 catches for 378 yards, two TDs) is probable after missing last week's game with a shoulder injury. Freshman standout Speedy Noil, who had minor knee surgery after a Sept. 13 injury, continues to improve and had two late touchdown catches last week. The Aggies have allowed an average of 34.7 points and 492 yards to their three SEC opponents.

EXTRA POINTS

1. Myles Garrett broke the Texas A&M freshman sacks record last week and his 6.5 sacks rank second in the SEC.

2. CB Mike Hilton is a candidate to start at rover safety - his fourth different starting position in three seasons at Ole Miss - in place of Trae Elston (suspended for first half).

3. Through Tuesday, Ole Miss fans have donated more than $80,000 to help the university pay the $75,000 in SEC fines, the cost of new goalposts and miscellaneous repairs after fans stormed the field after last week's win against Alabama.

PREDICTION: Mississippi 35, Texas A&M 24
