Gavin Sawchuk had his best running day against Kent State in Week 3, carrying 11 times for 97 yards and two scores. Virginia’s run D is 13th in the ACC, so as long as FSU commits to Sawchuk, this Over shouldn’t be an issue.
Tommy Castellanos told reporters this week that he's 100% and ready to go, and his passing line is a paltry 172.5 yards against the Cavaliers. He's cleared that in back-to-back weeks and will make it a third.
Trell Harris has become QB Chandler Morris' favorite target in this Virginia offense. Harris has caught 18 balls for 321 yards and three touchdowns through the first four games of the season. When Florida State played Alabama, Germie Bernard went for 146 yards on eight catches. They held Ryan Williams to 30 yards, but it should have been much more if he hadn't had a case of the drops in that game. And as a result, FSU ranks a middling 52nd in EPA per opponent dropback.
