Dallas @ Las Vegas Picks & Props

The Dallas Wings could be in for another tough night on Friday, as they will visit the Las Vegas Aces. But outside of their MVP-caliber anchor in A’ja Wilson, the Aces haven’t been great this year. A combination of poor defense and a fast pace of play has seen Las Vegas allow 83.9 ppg to opponents. That’s likely to play into Paige Bueckers’ hands, as the Wings like to push the pace and run themselves into high-scoring games. With lots of points on tap, I’m taking Bueckers to continue her scoring binge with the Over tonight.

Gray was already seeing an uptick in offensive action the past two games before Wilson went out late in Wednesday’s loss to Los Angeles. She’s attempted 24 shots the past two contests – 15 of which came beyond the arc – and scoring 16 and 24 points in those outings. Player projections for Friday are very bullish on Gray’s production against Dallas, with scoring models sitting between 17 and 18 points. That’s plenty of headroom for the Over, with Gray’s scoring prop as low as 13.5 O/U.
