The Liberty showed that they’re going to work hard to get Sabally into a rhythm early yesterday, as she took and made the first shot of the game while scoring five points in the first two minutes. Sabally is a dependable scorer and New York will likely try to get her started early again tonight, making her my ideal first basket target.

The New York Liberty have lost two straight games by double-digit margins, and have struggled to find success as they integrate Satou Sabally and Sabrina Ionescu into the lineup. The Portland Fire already have one win over the Liberty this year, and with a spread this big, I'm backing them to keep this one close and cover tonight.

The reigning Sixth Player of the Year is putting together another strong statistical season, boosting her points (15) and assists (6.4) to new career highs.
Burton has cleared this combo line only once this season, but she’s come within two or three in each contest. Tonight’s matchup with the Sun represents the worst defensive rating she’s faced all season.
The Sun rank in the Bottom 4 in defensive rating and points and assists surrendered, which should lead to the small bump in production needed to get to 26 and cash a line I’d bet up to 26.5.
