The Mystics must have realized early they would blow out the Sky on Tuesday. There is no other reason that Shakira Austin played only 20 minutes. In seven of the nine games this season in which Austin played at least 26 minutes, she has topped this prop. Those nine chances all came in the last 15 games. In a more competitive matchup with massive playoff implications tonight, expect Austin to see plenty of time.

The Valkyries took a step backward when Kayla Thornton was lost for the season. If they are to continue pushing for the playoffs, someone like veteran Tiffany Hayes has to pick up that slack. She has cleared this prop in two of the three games since Thornton's injury, a small sample size but a pertinent one, nonetheless.

The Valkyries are slipping out of playoff position in part because of their perimeter defense. No one in the WNBA has given up more looks from deep this month, and opponents are hitting 33.7% of those. As the Mystics' best shooter, Sonia Citron should take advantage of that.
