The Boston Red Sox transferred INF Triston Casas to the 60-day injured list due to a left patellar tendon rupture. Casas will be off crutches in two weeks and expects to be ready for Opening Day next season, Jen McCaffrey of The Athletic reports.
The Boston Red Sox placed RHP Kutter Crawford on the 60-day injured list as he recovers from right patellar tendinopathy. Crawford will undergo what will likely be season-ending surgery on his right wrist as reported on (Jun. 25) Wednesday.
