TV: 2:10 p.m. ET, TBS, CS Chicago, FS Milwaukee, Telemundo (Milwaukee)
PITCHING MATCHUP: Cubs RH Casey Coleman (2-6, 7.59 ERA) vs. Brewers RH Zack Greinke (12-5, 4.22).
Coleman has had a rough season, and it hasn't gotten any better since he rejoined the rotation on Aug. 17. In his two August starts, Coleman has surrendered nine runs and 15 hits in only 8 2/3 innings. He experienced similar struggles earlier in the season, including an April 10 no-decision against Milwaukee (five innings, nine hits, four runs). In three career games (two starts) against the Brewers, Coleman is 0-1 with a 7.43 ERA. Milwaukee left fielder Ryan Braun is 5-for-8 with a home run and three RBIs against him. Perhaps no pitcher in baseball has taken advantage of his home park more than Greinke, who is 9-0 with a 3.55 ERA at Miller Park in his first National League season. He returns home after being pounded in an Aug. 22 loss at Pittsburgh when he yielded seven runs over 6 1/3 innings in a 9-2 setback. Greinke has split two starts against the Cubs, throwing 6 2/3 shutout innings in a 2-0 victory on July 27 after being battered at Chicago on June 16 (5 1/3 innings, eight hits, six earned runs).
ABOUT THE CUBS (57-76): Chicago has struggled in a number of areas this season, particularly pitching and defense, but it has had its moments offensively. Third baseman Aramis Ramirez, who leads the Cubs with a .312 average, 24 home runs and 83 RBIs, has been on fire during his current 16-game hit streak, batting .516 (32-for-62). Left fielder Alfonso Soriano (.244) cooled off considerably after a hot start, but he drove in all four Chicago runs Saturday to raise his season total to 65.
ABOUT THE BREWERS (80-54): Milwaukee has buried the National League Central field by dominating at home - its 49-16 record at Miller Park is easily the best in the major leagues and puts the team on track for the best home mark by any team since the 1998 New York Yankees (62-19). Greinke and righthander Yovani Gallardo are a combined 18-1 at home this season.
FINAL PITCH: The Brewers have won their last seven home games against the Cubs and the last five meetings overall.
