Sunday serves up a Premier League blockbuster as Tottenham and Manchester City collide in a fixture that has produced some wild results in recent seasons.

While Spurs have often given Pep Guardiola headaches, this version of Tottenham feels far less threatening.

That’s why my Tottenham vs. Manchester City predictions lean toward a City win in a low-scoring affair, with Under 2.5 goals the preferred play.

My Tottenham vs Man City best bet:  Man City to win and Under 2.5 goals (+360 at Sports Interaction)

This feels like a great bet given the odds.

Man City are just four points behind Arsenal heading into the weekend and could be as many as seven points behind by the time this game kicks off.

They’ve been inconsistent this season, but over recent weeks, we’ve seen results change. They have the second-best defensive record in the league, allowing under a goal per game.

A defensive focus has been key, and despite being the highest-scoring team in the Premier League, they’ve not scored more than two goals in a game in their past six league attempts, with Under 2.5 goals landing in five straight EPL games.

Meanwhile, the Spurs have just one win in their past eight Premier League games, and have lost four times in that span.

Their injury list is also racking up, particularly in attacking positions, with Richarlison, Mohammed Kudus, Dejan Kulusevski, and James Maddison all missing this game, who’d potentially be starting if fit.

Spurs are outperforming their xG by five goals, which is likely to regress to the norm.

The numbers back it up, too: Under 2.5 goals has landed in nine of the last 10 meetings between these teams with Spurs at home.

Expect a low-scoring win for Man City.

Tottenham vs Man City same-game parlay (SGP)

Man City to win and Under 2.5 goals

Antoine Semenyo to record 1+ shots on target

Cristian Romero to be shown a card

We’re adding two legs to our best bet for the Same Game Parlay. First up, we’re backing Antoine Semenyo to record one or more shots on target.

He had a great half-season at Bournemouth with 10 goals and has started well with three goals already for his new club. He’s played twice in the Premier League for City and has averaged a shot on target across those games, and Spurs have been giving up 11.6 shots per game in the league this season.

To finish it off, we’re taking Cristian Romero to get booked. The fiery Argentine has a poor disciplinary record. In just 19 Premier League games, he’s already accumulated eight yellows and a red card, and leads the Spurs team in fouls committed.

He was booked when these teams met earlier in the season and will struggle against the quality of the City forward line.
