Readjusting to the rhythm of club football is often tricky even for the big players after the national team breaks, but City can't afford a slip if they want their title push to keep its consistency.

City currently sits four points behind leaders Arsenal in the Premier League table. Newcastle away is always difficult, so I'll avoid the moneyline and look at in-form Erling Haaland to deliver one more time.

Here are my Newcastle vs. Man City predictions and free betting picks for Saturday, November 22.

Premier League predictions for Newcastle vs Man City

My Newcastle vs Man City best bet: Erling Haaland anytime goalscorer (-130 at Sports Interaction)

Erling Haaland is hungry, and he never rests. That's the lesson he's taught us over the past five years. The Norwegian has already scored 14 goals in the Premier League this season. That's almost twice as many as the next highest scorer, Brentford's Igor Thiago, with eight.

Haaland's next goal will be his 100th in the English top-flight, while a goal at St. James' Park against Newcastle (or in front of any of his next 15 opponents) will make him the fastest to reach this milestone.

The Norwegian scored at least one goal in 16 of his last 17 games for club and country, so I'm backing him to continue this extra-terrestrial run of form and hit against Newcastle as well. Sports Interaction pays an excellent -130 and I'm going to grab it.

Newcastle vs Man City same-game parlay (SGP)

Erling Haaland anytime goalscorer

Jeremy Doku 1+ shots on target

Nick Woltemade 1+ shots on target

Over 9.5 corners

It's rarely peaceful when Newcastle play City, so I'm not going to omit cards. In the past six games between Newcastle and City, there were 25 yellow cards on display, which takes the average to just over four per match.

To round up a nice +1,150 exit for our parlay, I'm counting on some individual deliveries here. Doku and Woltemade are both set to feature for their teams and both should play key roles. Doku has been one of City's top performers since the start of the campaign. Currently, he's at 0.64 shots on target per match in the Premier League. I'm counting on his individual quality to make the difference around the Newcastle box. He should look at finishing to add even more spice to his season stats. This is Woltemade's case as well.

The German is Newcastle's star signing, so it's games like these where he's expected to take centre stage. All three of his non-penalty goals for Newcastle this season have been from first-time shots, so he's not a man who's shy to make quick decisions. I'm counting on that to show against City as well.
