The Premier League is back this weekend, and Manchester United and Chelsea’s meeting on Saturday is one of the biggest games on the docket, especially with Ruben Amorim on the hot seat.

With just one win so far in the league, it’s no surprise that the manager is under pressure, and that’s likely to continue with our Manchester United vs. Chelsea predictions fully expectant of a win for the London club.

Read on for my Premier League picks for Saturday, September 20, with kickoff at 12:30 p.m. ET on USA Network.

My Man United vs Chelsea best bet: Chelsea moneyline (+140 at SportsInteraction)

Chelsea have had a strange start to the season. They are just one of three teams currently unbeaten, but they enter the weekend fifth in the Premier League and already four points behind Liverpool, who sit at the summit. They’re tied for the most goals scored in the league this season, with nine through four games, but are now suffering from an injury crisis with several players out injured.

Fortunately, they’re playing a Manchester United team who are in disarray. United have just four points from their opening four games, but the problem has been their inconsistency. They lost their opening game against Arsenal, but looked good at times during that game.

Since then, we’ve seen them look excellent for times in games, then spend the rest of the game looking like they’ve never played before. There are question marks around Amorim’s system, but the manager hasn’t considered making any tactical changes, and in press conferences, he seems committed to living or dying by his favored system.

United haven’t shown an ability to play at a consistent level in any of their games so far this season, and with how poor they look defensively, there's a real chance Chelsea don’t just win, but win with ease. Chelsea have won two of the past three meetings and could take all three points on Saturday.

Both teams to score: No

Cole Palmer anytime goalscorer

First up is backing Chelsea to keep a clean sheet. So far, the Blues have kept clean sheets in 50% of their league games, while United haven’t scored in either of their two games against teams in the top half of the Premier League.

We’re also going to back Cole Palmer to find the back of the net. He grew up as a United fan and would relish the chance to score against them this weekend. He scored three in six in the Club World Cup this summer and has scored in his past two games, as a substitute against Brentford and then in the defeat to Bayern Munich on Wednesday.
