Did Wisconsin Police & Firemen break their oath ?...

In Wisconsin is loyalty to their Unions taking precedence over loyalty to the people of Wisconsin ?

This letter was written to M&I Bank appears to be threatening a boycott...public sector union members are supposedly public servants ....and they are expected to avoid even the hint of impropriety in their labor disputes...and have taken an oath to serve the community.......

Excerpts from above letter :

The undersigned groups would like your company to publicly oppose Governor Walker’s efforts to virtually eliminate collective bargaining for public employees in Wisconsin. While we appreciate that you may need some time to consider this request, we ask for your response by March 17. In the event that you do not respond to this request by that date, we will assume that you stand with Governor Walker and against the teachers, nurses, police officers, fire fighters, and other dedicated public employees who serve our communities.

In the event that you cannot support this effort to save collective bargaining, please be advised that the undersigned will publicly and formally boycott the goods and services provided by your company.

 

So there are certain events that can supercede an oath? What are you trying to say? What can you say to defend this type of behavior?

Oh...I forgot you probably celebrated the 'ass and elbows 14' that ran and hid in Illinois.

The party that elected chipaquadic Ted will allow any type of behavior that promotes their lack of values.

Nice way to read into that letter spiderman.  They are not threatening slow response times at all. They are saying that if businesses dont want to support the workers, why should the workers support their businesses and buy their products. Everything in life is a 2 way street.

Its no differnt then the people who hate walmart{myself being one of them, they destroyed the small business guy in our country} and dont buy products there, something i know you penny pinchers wouldnt ever think of doing.

In closing spiderman you are exactly 100 percent like mets, always trying to put your own spin on things that just arent being said.

I no of no cop or firefighter in my years on the job, that would ever respond to calls slower, and you can believe that or not, but its 100 percent true.

Good luck with those on the left not bashing, but, maybe your request will be honored.

If the police or firefighters respond slowly, or don't respond at all, I hope they are held criminally liable for any harm/ damage/death caused by their slow response.

I think I read somewhere that a fire department refused to respond to a house fire in one town recently because the house hadn't paid property bills or firefighter fees or something like that.

I doubt you would ever find an honorable profession like police officers do that, but, who knows when it comes to unions

you must be living in the twlight zone.  Private companies replacing public workers doesnt mean things will get done for less, thats complete nonsense. My water depty was turned over to a private company, my bills are now 3 times higher, my friend who lives a city over had their garbage service turned over to a private company, his bill is now double what it used to be.

And wahts really sad about that is the fact that the workers salaries went down, while the company owners money went up. I guess if thats what your for, then keep rooting for that type of thing to happen.

Oh and know this, once you turn over public services over to private companies which in 99 percent of the cases are always long term contracts, the cities and states lose complete control of these services and you are now at the mercy of private companies whos man goal in business is to make money, where as when the services are run by cities, the cities arent trying to turn a profit on the taxpayers.

You watch in the next 10-20 years when more and more of this happens, people will really be going thru the roof when their services they pay for go sky high. Until this happens in your city, i know guys like you just cant believe it, but thats what private companies do.

This is exactly why some of you guys need to be gone from this site forever. You create threads and post stuff that is just not true, in order to start fights and arguements.

Nowhere in the entire letter do they talk about slow response times or not responding at all. Thats clearly made up bullshit by spiderman. They are just asking the businesses to help support them and if they dont want to support them they along with their families and friends arent going to buy their products, they will just buy them from businesses who support them.

When i was working, i didnt and still dont buy shit from walmart, but that doesnt mean my response to walmart would be any slower then any other business. People and business pay for my services and thats exactly what each of them would get.

So really spiderman, why are you and your pal mets constantly trying to stir up shit?
