Union membership in the US has declined steadily since 1970, and for good reason. They are chasing the jobs away.
Unions have done some good things for labor in the past, but now by shielding poor performance, padded pensions and by calling things rights that are really privileges ..they have out lived their usefulness.....
Unions had a place in this country at one time. That time has passed....America and States are broke we cannot afford to fund this antiquated system any longer ..public unions have to die ..
I sincerely hope that all Wisconsin and American taxpayers who actually pay the salaries, benefits and retirement plans of these public union thugs respond to this extortion with anger and a righteous intention to decertify all public unions...

the union is asking a business to back them and if they feel they dont want to back the union, then its member dont feel like they want to back the buying of products from their business. There still going to do their jobs and provide services to the business, they just arent going to spend their money in those businesses. They are instead going to give their money to businesses who back them. Sorry spiderman, but there is nothing wrong with that, so get over it.
